While fishing about 50 miles off the coast of North Carolina this little yellow bird flew into the back of the boat. He decided to hang out for a little while and brought in the yellowfin! Follow us at: HookEmNCookEm Join the conversation on Reddit: www.reddit.com/user/HookEmNCookEm/

Dam all that dam noise. Why would u even make a video with all that noise
Whether its a 200 pound yellowfin or a 5 pound snapper I appreciate your care for the fish. I've always figured i owe it to them AND i spend thousands of dollars catching these fish. My Dad recently broke my boat record Wahoo. 71 pounds. We were only doing 10 knots and the fish hit a daisy chain of squid skirts of all things. We'd been catching dolphin all morning and then boom around 9am we get the bite.
How can you make a video while someone else is using an angle grinder?
R u going to make love to the fish or filet the damn thing? Hahahahahaha.😮😊
That was excellent. Thank you.
This video is excellent, above the standard by far...
🎉
Could you use the same principles on albacore? I live in the Pacific Northwest and those are more abundant up here.
Lot of sawing…
Despite the noise in the background I learnt a very important and skilful lesson today on cutting Tuna.
That was absolutely awesome. My fishing partner laughs at me because I cut my fish like a surgeon too. Unfortunately my fish are much smaller than yours, but that's going to change this year in Mexico so I am learning all I can. How about showing that tuna dip recipe?
That background noise was brutal to listen to. Otherwise..nice video.
Agreed, terrible timing with the construction but the fish needed to be done. We're going to make another video next catch.
What boat do you run? We’re planning a trip early may this year.
The Smoker mostly.
Great video and tips. Thanks
Thank you!
Excellent tutorial! We will be fishing out of thr Oregon Inlet in late November. Hopefully we'll bring one or two home to use your technique. Thanks!
Awesome, which boat are you going out on?

I want to see u cook the tail section and belly
Noted, we'll make it happen!
That's a good looking piece of meat
Great video! From start to end, very informative. Thank u .
Next time can you make a video on how you smoke your Ahi. . .
We will, just for you.
I would love to see that as well. Thanks great video
Enjoyed your video and your explanations. Love how you respect your catch. We do pretty much exactly the same thing here in Hawaii. Those rib bones off the belly is my favorite to throw on the grill with some garlic salt.
Thanks for watching, we'll have to try the grilled garlic rib meat next time!
Yummy 😋😋
Looks great, Karl!
Great knife skills
Thank you
@@hookemncookem2313 you are welcome ! I've done some big fish , definitely learned something from you cobia related. Your channel has great content
The lil bird thought he was a fish lol
I wonder how cobia tastes smoked
Is it a freshwater fish? Can it be farmed in RAS system please let me know
Why cut a tale piece
Gotta have something for the smoker!
I’m a kid but it’s fine I do it myself
You got this!
Today at work I cut 585 pieces of Cobia fish fillet into 5 ounces it was a fun project today really enjoy this too!👍🔪🐟

Filleting fish wearing a ROLEX DYTONA ! Awesome !
Time is of the essence ;)
Good video. Thanks.
Thanks Mario
Cobia are a great fish to catch and eat. There is a large amount of belly meat on a cobia that is really good, most people throw it to the crabs, glad to see you put it in the cooler. Nice job
Thank you, couldn't agree more.
As a professional chef i would have you dress all my fish. Nice job.
i like how you saved the scraps, this was a really good fillet job, that's a dream fish for me, and I probably won't catch one for a few years. Most videos of filleting fish, make a hack job of it.
what......no bubba blade commercial
good job!
So wasteful to throw away the head!
