Ford transit connect electrician setup.
In this video I showed my electrician van setup for a ford transit connect, hoping to inspire and bring new ideas to people all over the world. I also encourage if you use this vehicle for electrical work, to make a video showing your setup since videos like that are very scarce in the UA-cam world. Thank you for watching!

wtf is up with the chewing gum.
I never see electrician with a broom 😂😂 😊 jk brother great set up
Thank you. 👍
Hey, next time you record a video stop chewing gum how about no gum
On the little one, keep like your wire nuts and extra roll of tape extra bits screws different sizes things that you use constantly
I would blackout the back windows inside with black vinyl so nobody can peek inside, protect your investment
Nice set up! Gotta ask is that front windshield tinted?
How big is the shelf?
For the wire under the shelf, you might try a rubber boot tray. That will probably keep it from sliding around.
the background music is annoying
Add padlocks bro
Nice setup brother I’m a plumber just bought myself a transit super excited to customize it, really inspired me I’ll make a video of how mines turns out
I really like your setup. I use a lot of the same packouts. I am really interested in your cage behind the seats and that shelving in the back. Could you please provide some details on those?
Is this the XLT ?
Great set up Brother. I am getting ready to buy a van just like that one, You need a ladder rack on top...
How do you hold the ladder that it doesn't loosen ? Thank for your help!
Nice video! Nice van set up. Way cool
I’m a plumber, I like your set up.
You got a broom....? Wow . Lol
Looks good bro, I’m a data guy my boss just bought this van for me. I’ll do a video on my setup. It does have a preinstalled tool chest but I have a shit ton of pack out I’m going to fit it with.
Could you perhaps link your video when it's up to view?
sure will!@@marknel4738
I'm debating low voltage or inside wireman.. any thoughts? I hope to start my own business even if it's just me and my van
This is Awesome! I would love to work out of that People wonder why I buy the best of the best If it makes my life easier at work, that peaceful day transfer over to my home life. Overall improves my quality of life. If I die poor but had a great quality of life, then I lived to my fullest Makes me want a van! Unfortunately I need a long bed to hold all the materials for the jobs I do.
Nice setup bro. Thanks for sharing.
nice setup, I usually just throw all my crap in the back and hope I can find it the next day. cheers! 😁
Great video but what’s with the lip smacking
You should have all your packout on a sliding tray so you wouldn’t have to climb inside your van to grab stuff !
Real electricians don’t use broom 😂 just kidding😅 nice setup man. I’m thinking of installing Milwaukee packout in my transit connect
Hahaha so I’ve heard, but thanks Man, I def recommend the packout, it gives you the option to change your setup around in the future if needed. Definitely go for it.
To keep you’re wire from sliding maybe use two 3’ bungee cords
I still have not solved this issue but I will deff try this now! Thank you!
Nice setup, I have also struggled with finding electrician van setups. For the wire sliding out issue, add a shelf on the same side. I hope to post my setup soon.
Thank you ! Is there any specific shelf you recommend? But I’m looking forward for your post!
hey dude, im getting a transit connect myself. What is the name of the clamp holding your 3/4inch bender? I do have a lot of ideas to make your set up better, but it depends on what type work you do.
Nice ! Would definitely love to see the setup you do on your truck, and the clamps are called quick fist rubber clamps, I got them from Amazon, love using them. And yes man I’m open to all suggestions, I’m an electrician mostly residential.
Super verry nice tools…Wow 💪
Yes I have it for years now and I enjoy every time I get to use them
Very nice setup! I’ve got the same van and all the packout gear too but I need to get some racking like you have to organise other bits. Currently got the 3 piece set with wheels etc and the drawers and crates but not got any proper mounting plates or brackets since I cannot decide how I want to properly lay it all out haha. UK electrician too so got to carry a lot different size cable to you by the looks of it? Thanks for the video, like you say it’s hard to find videos of our vans!
Hey! Thanks for your comment, I’m actually an electrician in the states, but yeah packout was the way to go for me due to me also being indecisive on the layout or if In the future I wanna change it around, but I hope you decide on your layout soon and hopefully you get to show all of us so we can get some ideas from you!
Hey man, I like the way you're using the packout system for storage inside a smaller van. It would be great for service, inspections, and also light/small jobs. The shallow smaller packout storage bins I use like you for anything small like screws, impact and drill bits, pencils, pens and markers, machine and ground screws and others similar items. The packout drawers I would use exclusively for all receptacles, switches, their covers, sealants/fire block, zip ties, extra tapes, and smaller power tool and their blades. The deeper packouts storage bins help with hole saw kits and sawzall blades, my M12 batteries and chargers, and also the actual M12 tools (some). Larger packout storage bins can hold larger tools out of view, and other miscellaneous hand tools. A 12" or 14" piece of 3" SCH 80 PVC helps for long auger bits, torpedo levels and similar long items. A 10.5 ' length of 4" or 6" plumbing PVC pipe helps on top of the van for EMT, PVC and ground rods with Little Giant ladders to either side. The top portion of the rear doors where the windows would go if you had any are perfect to put your extension cords or any rope you may need for pulling. They sell hooks that attach to the packout system as well and those are pretty handy.
Thank you so much for this comment! I will deff put into use some of the recommendations you have given, and also I definitely need the roof rack so I can attach my ladder and a big pvc pipe on top, so is still a work in progress to get it where it wanted but thank you for all your suggestions !
They are really nice, so nice I think I would want to put it on display and just stare at it
9 and 14 missing they should make all the sizes ? Other companies make a complete set !
Nice up close video. Thanks this set looks super dope
Yo yo yo dawg
Hey what’s up mang?
Well, I’m sold. Looking forward to getting my own set 🤞🏼
Hope you got it already! Now that I’ve owned it for over a year I can honestly say that I love them! They are very good quality and very handy for different tasks.
No 9 no 11
Jesus fucking christ your b roll work is fucking mad!!!
Thanks for the great video! Do you have another one in the works for us?
Yes I’m working on more content to upload soon.
I'm not a fan of that small extension with the wobble feature, I find it annoying rather than helpful. Aside from that it's a decent kit.
So far I have not use it for the stuff that I do. Who knows maybe one day will be helpful, but I agree with you on not being a big fan of it
lack of a 14 in the kit would be a no-go for me. Plus looks way too fragile for my day to day.
I use this daily commissioning wind turbines. It's been tossed and beat up and handles like new.
Yes is odd how they don’t do the 14 but you can always purchase it separately. As of my experience I’m an electrician doing a lot of services and so far it has not failed me.
Great video! No W sound in German pronunciation is a V sound so... Wera is Vera Wiha is Viha Wago is Vago
Thanks for the clarification!
Yes, but the R is also pronounced differently, so more like verrchha
Thanks for the super Video! Very well done!
Thank you. I’ll be uploading more content soon
