Is there a way to do this with the "Options" (data) on a separate workbook?

I’ve been on the hunt for implementing what I envisioned Excel to be able to do! You nailed it. I do wish, however, that the search bar could be on the same sheet as the data and just filter that set of data vs creating another table elsewhere.

Weird, VBA keeps saying I have a bug in the following line of code: "Else: ActiveSheet.Shapes("Calendar").Visible = False" but it´s exactly the same as in the video... I ran the code several times until it crashed... don´t know what I´m doing wrong :( "Run-time error +2147024809 (80070057)´: The item wiht the specificied name wasn´t found"

SUPER helpful. The only thing I would edit is the location of the date pick when it appears. When it is so close to the cell, it hides the drag function of that cell. A quick fix is to put a "1.5 x cell width" in the code to offset the date picker just a bit.

Do you know how I can change this so the calendar appears to the left of the active cell instead?

Thanks. I will try it. How about data consistency if level 1 is changed? Any vba free method to do it? Conditional formatting warning maybe? Or something smarter?

If your source data does not have values in all cells, just add & "" after the FILTER (or CHOOSECOLS) function to force returning empty strings instead of zeros. If you want to use the conditional formatting, you may want to change that into & " " (whitespace character), and that way the formatting should draw those lines around those cells as well. I have yet to figure out how to lock that search bar in place, as it appears to be impossible to group a control and graphics together so that they would also move together. I suppose, one would want to lock the entire sheet meant to be used for searching (Review > Protect Sheet)...

I am wondering if you could add an additional upgrade - ie. to return a data in School Name wherein the original data of school name is a hyperlink to its website. That is the School Name is an active URL. Will it possible to return the same in the result of a dynamic search?

I tried to use the Highlight Range of Dates option but it seems to highlight a fixed value or range instead of a dynamic one as the mouse-selected cell.
