MOVING VLOG Part #1 | Zz Moves In
Hi Plant Friends 👋 Last week I visited my new house (renting) for the first time since signing the lease. I decided to bring a single plant with me to make it feel more like home. This video is both very short and very very badly shot. To make up for that shortfall I edited the 💩 out of it. 😁 Consider this a sneak peak at what’s to come with my moving vlogs. Well minus the poor videography anyways.. that I made sure to improve on. 🤣 Because I’m so busy with moving it will take me a bit to respond to your comments. I appreciate you all so much and I will get back to you as soon as I’m all moved in.
Thanks so much for watching! 💚

How To Spot Spider Mite Damage On Succulent Plants
Переглядів 17 тис.5 років тому
Hi Plant Friends 🙂 Spider Mites are so small that they often go unnoticed on your succulents until the damage is already done. That’s why as a grower it is so important that we learn how to spot spider mite damage on succulent plants as soon as possible. This will help to save our plants and reduce the risk of spreading these bugs to other plants in our collections. I hope that you find this vi...

    So let me get this straight. I don’t have to repot it if I don’t want to and I want it to over grow the pot..? All I gotta do is trim it every now and then

    If you let this plant get "leggy" (7 nodes long as a minimum) it produces beautiful little flowers every morning and they die every night. Its so tempting to cut Everthing and keep it neat but also to let it do its thing to see its true beauty. You just have to be sure that the weight of the steam can be supported without strangling itself. You can do this by checking the stems around the edge of the pot. That said. It is a great video and you have done a great job of growing this plant from cutting.

    What I see is slightly bigger than a mite, but looks like a spider.the plant was just purchased at a Walmart, and I strongly advise never buy plants from Walmart, but this thing may be a loss.i took good cuttings, and hopefully they all root and I'll just start a entirely new one.lots of leaves rotting, stems rotting,it don't look like it can be saved.but no idea what bugs are in it.i got it outside to prevent it spreading to my other good plants

    thank you SO much for this video!! it's so difficult to find anything about what spider mite damage looks like on succulents, and this has been so helpful! i'm not sure if i'm dealing with spider mites or another kind of mite (because it looks a bit different), but the damage is the same - thank you for showing what it looks like.

    Ughhhhh spider mites. Hate them! Almost prefer mealies over them because they don't travel as far 😡 I found a bunch 2 nights ago on my pothos and a couple other plants in the corner. I tossed the silver shield cuz it was loaded. Never really loved that guy. And likely since they have mites, they were shipped with them. 😞

    DID YOU PULL THE DEAD LEAVES OUT THEN WATERED THE PLANT? BECAUSE MAYBE THAT'S WHAT HAPPENENED. YOUR NOT SUPPOSED TO PULL OUT THE LEAVES THEN WATER THE PLANT BECAUSE ONCE YOU PULLED THE LEAVES OFF YOU LEFT AND OPEN WOUND ON THE STEM AND WATER GOT INTO IT AND ROTTED THE WHOLE THING.

    Help please!!! I am a newbie I live in the foothills of North Carolina USA 4 equal seasons. I presently own 23 different cacti the variety of cactus some I have are "Echinocereus Enneacanthus /Lobivia Schieleana Quiabayensis / Parodia Tredecimcostata / Notocactus / /Parodia aculta / Rebutia Flavistyla / Echinopsis Subdenudaa / Mammillaria Perbella. (I only buy the ones that flower). I have had a perfect spring and summer (outdoors) much fruit many flowers I am enjoying myself immensely BUT, BUT! To say I am confused on the right way the best way to care for cacti is a understatement because there are so many different opinions on UA-cam. As an example of what I mean some say during the winter to water once a month another once every six weeks another once every two months or still another not to water at all for four months total....... Can someone recommend the number 1 book for beginners growing cacti the bible of the kind of species cacti I own I am growing? Please and thank you, Thank you very much.

    I used caulk to seal it and filled it with soil and planted them directly in it but the ferns that I put inside died and got moldy. Do you have any recommendations for planting in them or should I remove the soil and just put pots in it like you have here?

    Hens and chicks do better outdoors . You can mix potting soil and succulent soil in a flower bed and plant these guys into the ground. There will be less reaching and they'll be able to spread themselves out by shooting out chicks

    your string of hearts is way to over grown and is now producing babies from the roots on the long vines because you have never cut them. not only do you want to clip them periodically to increase how full it gets, but also to either propigate the babies back into the top to get it even more full or start new plants. it will die out if you keep letting it grow without maintenance it cant re root itself and it take a ton of energy to keep its babies and that length up for to long. kepep them beautiful and start new ones by maintaining them more regularly.

    • @giventogrow8533
      @giventogrow8533 4 роки тому

      Oh but I did cut it. Quite a bit! I laughed because “Without maintenance” is most certainly not what I was in the habit of doing. I was a helicopter mom to my plants. I made so many plants from this ones and shared them with ma g many people. Making myself and them very happy. Now the plant is DEAD. Yep. Very dead. You can spend all the time In the world making something look perfect or trying to be perfect and life can still come along and wipe them out. I’m glad your having a good time offering advice to people but it’s not really Important at all that things look this way or that way. It’s important that we love our plants and love the time we spend with them. Your advice here is good though. If you want a full plant and like to propagate you aren’t wrong. I just confused as to why your so hung up on the way the plant looked. Lol. Hey I guess back then I was like this too. Not anymore. You should see some of mine now. Actually you would likely just be offended and leave a rude comment. Cheers!

    Thanks to everyone taking their time to read this testimony on how my son was saved from Autism. He was diagnosed four years ago, and he's just 6, I have tried several treatments and medications, nothing was working out, this got me frustrated and depressed. I kept praying and finally God answered my prayers when someone from youtube introduced me to this doctor from his home country and gave me his contact details. I called and explained my son's condition after which I made an order for his herbal remedy, he asked for my address and the next day I got a tracking number for a parcel sent to me through DHL and after four days I received my order. It was a liquid herbal medicine and a letter containing the instructions on how to use the herbs, I called him again to confirm and the next morning I started giving my son the herbs as instructed and after one week I noticed great improvement on my son and I continued until the herbs got finished and everything lasted for just one month and now my son is totally free from Autism, he can now talk clearly, behave normally and has no more seizures. If you've been searching for a genuine solution for Autism, connect with this honest Doctor on Whats App + 2 3 4 8 0 7 7 6 8 3 1 0 9 or ( solutionhealinghome@gmail. com )
