I found the station on Google Earth It’s not actually based on Montparnasse it’s based on, gare du Nord Rue de I put the pictures next to each other and the one from the movie looked more like gare du Nord Rue de then Montparnasse and I added the train onto the photo of gare du Nord Rue de and it looked good and also very funny because the window wasn’t even smashed 😂

GOOD LORD for many years I thought the black box thingy on the left at 3:46 was a shadow of a human. Anyhow, DAMN did they really put LOTS, and I mean *LOTS* of effort into making the miniatures into this scene, even after 13 years, it's impressive the amount of work and detail went into creating this. Overall, one of my favorite movies of all time.
But what is the black box thing?
