I want to double the size of the axolotl but can't get yarn large enough, would I be able to 2x the amount of stitches and 2x the amount of rows or would that mess up the pattern do you think?

I absolutely love this tutorial, however I have a little doubt. In round 5 of the coat, you say that its supposed to be 7hdc, 1dec, 14hdc, 1dec, 5hdc; which adds up to 28. I'm so confused. Should I just go ahead and make 6hdc in the end or should i do one more decrease? I love the work that you've done tho♥♥

I ordered, Dr Frederick's Original Copper gloves from Amazon to try and help my hands. I ordered a medium and they were so small so I ordered an XL, I really hope they help because the pain in a crocheter:s hands are not fun!!

Sarah I’m new at crochet & reading a pattern is Very Difficult due to having strokes & for some reason today I cannot get this example below, Help me with what it means by the Decreases Please ! Example R9 3SC (3SC , dec)x3, SC (18) Does it mean every 3 SC I do a decrease three times? Sorry I just have nobody to help me! Thank You!
