You need a bates hundo. It does pretty much everything, from light to heavy. Line capacity is the only limiting factor. I ended up with almost everything Shimano and Daiwa before I took a chance on the bates. I’m never looking back.

For a sub $100 reel it’s great; depends on what you’re using it for though. Straight retrieve baits it’s great for (wakes and soft baits) but if you’re gonna fish a glide probs not the best for that since it’s a slow gear ratio. But a pretty good reel for the money. Mine was a few years old when I got it but it lasted a decent bit, and parts are cheap if you have to repair it. Tight lines! 🤙🏾

Yo! I used 2 different swimbait rods with 2 different reels; on the black rod is a Shimano Antares MD and on the red rod is the Shimano Scorpion 300MD

@@spicecantfish1321 yeah the fishing UA-cam community is very small and not a lot of people do product reviews like you did. I just picked up a Megatron 200 and out of the box I love it but I don't want to buy two of the same real from a company I'm not sure of so you really did help me out

I totally agree for the most part bro! I do unfortunately love the mystery concept of it and I think it’s a good premise, and back in the day it was sick for that purpose. But yeah if you’re looking for specific colors or styles you’re for sure better off just buying stuff yourself

Shoot you're totally right man! I forgot about that one, although I haven't seen a crate in a good long while. Might have to pick one up in the future and do an unboxing on it, but I think it'll be like the Jugg box but a few more baits; maybe 1-2 decent ones and 3-5 extra filler baits if I had to guess

Fair enough man! I personally haven't had good luck with any of the Lunkerhunt baits I've used, but maybe I'll have to try out a couple of their frogs and see if there's a hidden gem in there somewhere!

They truly have some anger issues around here! I gotta say though dude that oldtown kayak is unbelievably stable. I've stood with one foot on the nose of the kayak and can still be fairly comfortable with my ability not to fall in. Now that being said I'm also coming from a sub $300 walmart kayak which I also stood in, so compared to that POS this thing feels like a bass boat

Hey bro! Appreciate the positive feedback. To clear up why I was weighing such a small fish, that year was the first year I really spent time throwing big swimbaits and I was curious as to which of my baits produced the best. So I was keeping track of all the fish I caught that year on a big bait; size, weight, day, bait I caught it on etc. to see if there were some baits that produced numbers more than size or vice versa. I don’t weigh fish under 3-4 lbs generally though! Tight lines and thanks for the support
