Where is the frame on the bottom from and it the frame under the seat from the original truck what year? I have buckets and I am 6’3” and 250lbs with buckets and console in my truck and I think your seat up it the answer for me. Nice job.

Mine used to make noises. I did nothing to fix them. I just got used to blocking the noises out in my head.

That is one nasty machine! I'm not as good as you but I found a company t-bolt USA and I bought a modified engine I think they called it a Works engine!? Price was good they built the entire engine up for me new piston head carburetor gaskets rings intake Heavy Duty clutch they even installed it in their test machine ran it adjusted the jetting swapped oil again and send it to me as a complete engine including leaving all the wires hooked up the CDI coil ignition wires kill wire everything with plugged in all I had to do was put two bolts in sprocket chain exhaust system gas and I was ready to go. Just leave the Muzak out - it adds NOTHING, and just annoying. Instead, you could have told the viewers about the additional fasteners you were removing. Concept. To fix this correctly, you need to remove the dashboard. Those small "brackets" on the sides can't eliminate movement in between, and there are multiple attachment points.

Repair the door hinges first and then line up the door so that the body lines are correct, then work on the latches.

Great job. And yes the seat looks awesome. And the color matches. I have the same issues on my not as nice 54. I may do the same. How much did you cut off the original seat base. Before installing that frame. I need more room

Pulling the entire dash is the best way to fix the squeak. I used fiberglass and abs plumbing cement. Not a peep

Can you help me out with finding the triple clamps for these forks

fixing the broken brackets on that speedo cluster will only solve some of the annoying noises. I recently had reason to remove the ENTIRE dash assembly not just the dash cover he removed in this video. I discovered the four broken brackets that come through the firewall from the engine bay. I repaired them all with epoxy and reinstalled everything and the car makes ZERO noises. To do this level of fix you have to remove the wipers and the black plastic cowling below the windshield from the engine bay.

Bought my 48 3800 three years ago and it had a custom interior, new foam on the seat and all. Didn't know what the seat was out of until seeing this video and I totally agree, the seat works perfectly. Right now I'm working on making the bottom flip up for storage underneath

A Knife Tip (but I guess if you intend to cut plastic with it then it becomes a Plastic Cutting Tip in your specific application).

god thanks i found your video i have same problem in c70 it has same dash so it gives me some idea how to start working on that squeeking noises and see how it looks under the dash

Cool v70 , was wondering why the birds in the background sounded so familiar. Arizona just destroys the plastic in cars lol.

My recommendation it top mount the turbo. I've had many 240sx with bottom mount t28 setups that liked to come loose a lot. Flip the flange and call it a day.

I think you did good. I have a xr70r and I’m doing it finally! I am a double amputee recently but couldn’t finish it. It’s a 1997 that I bought in 2001 and didn’t want to mess with it. But anyways I think it’s worth it to do!

Where’d you get the gasket kit??

Is it also just 4- 16 mm bolts for the rear bumper?
