How come nobody goes to help the guard that has been thrown off the horse a broken tail bone is an awful thing to recover from.I feel so sorry for that guard was not badly hurt.from Australia
I hope the guard wasn't seriously injured in his fall, but I have to say...overall, I was very impressed by the horse. He had his moment when he thought, "Enough is enough" and he shed his rider, then he went back to being a good boy and followed the pack. You have to love the little bit of rebellion followed by contrition...good horsie!
Good fellow ,he just took his place ..falls are a happening with the territory ,just go limp and lay to make sure you aren’t injured before getting up..smart move.
I'm sure he's fine. They are trained to stay down and stay still until they've been checked, that's probably why he didn't get up right away. Also getting thrown on the gravel/sand would have been a softer landing than on the road, if he was lucky.
Horse a little spirited today??? Didn't fancy a rider..... Boy I'll tell you what, if I had the opportunity to ride I'd be up before anyone else and get my ride in. A great way to start my day. Wish I had land and horses like my forefathers did, I would be one happy girl.
Well, the easy answer is their enemy. The French under Bonaparte had many many issues. No money for starters thus no ammunition. The list is long. Death came to both sides.
Back in those days the horses received proper training and the riders had proper training and experience. These contemporary riders don't have the slightest idea what they are doing and the horses are extremely poorly trained.
I love how the horse had its rebellious moment, before suddenly coming to the realisation that if it keeps it up it'll probably be off to the glue factory and decided to behave and line up as if nothing happened.
Conversation in the stables that morning: "Another damn parade today." "Yeah just like yesterday." "Same damn thing every day." "It's cruelty to animals is what it is." "You're right. It's not like we're milk cows, needing the same routine." "I'm gonna throw my rider." "No you're not" "Yes I am." "I dare you!"
Once I cut through Hyde Park on my way home from work. Same thing happened by the Grosvenor Road exit. The horse nearly ran into the road then it charged where I was standing. It was terrifying!
The best thing you can do at that point is stay silent, calm and see it it is absolutely safe to either catch the horse by the bridle or if needed, direct it the other way. Am an equestrian. Screamibg only makes it worse and that's the first thing you learn as a beginner rider. If something happens, you better keep your mouth shut, don't scream and only call for help all while trying your all to calm the horse down. Horses are like mirrors. If you are anxious, the horse will be anxious. You get scared, guess what, you are in the ER in minutes.
What’s with all the “head tossing.” And when in motion, the noses are doing their own thing. Haven’t these people heard of teaching their horses proper head position for these exercises?
We have lots of wild donkeys and horses here. we feed them and outside my husbands office they gather for a drink, we have many foals at the moment, a joy to see them

Omg 😱 is he ok 😰 I am worried for him 😰

🫢horse wasn’t having it with that man on his back
'I don't need no stinking rider to stand guard', relieved of all that weight, horsie is quite happy.

振り落としたくせにちゃんと列に戻ってるのカワイイw
Oh my gosh that horse went back to its place and even lined up... Without its rider. Hope the rider was ok..
Knowbody went to the guard who fell off, shows what the people think of the army
Yes they did.
@@alison__16 they think army people are fools, all MP do

How the hell did they win at Waterloo?

@@dingusdingus2152 because back then the horse and rider were actual weapons of war. Today they are window dressing.
@@davemclaughlin8625 so perhaps you were just asking a rhetorical question?
Maybe because the French were worse? 😁
That rider has definitely been hurt. Hope it wasn't too serious.
Don't forget they're also trained to stay down and stay still until they've been checked, so he wouldn't have got up right away.
Was the Rider injured ? He lay on the ground for some time.
They are trained to stay down and stay still until they've been checked. That's probably why he didn't get up right away.
this just shows how stupid it all is ...from Australia ...and how stupid people are ...
That horseman could have had a heart attact, what the hell , and nobody helped him, never mind God save the Queen what about him
They followed their training exactly and did the right thing.
Total disregard for welfare of rider difficult to watch, ignore all, and just carry on, very cold!!
Surprised they didn’t walk back over the fallen guard and trample him, considering how barbaric this lot are. #pointless
Let me guess, you think the bits they use are cruel? 🙄
Horses have their moods. This horse does not want to be mounted.
The qweens garden never react on surprises. Because the real protect the qween. Nothing can get theirs attention! Only the qween protection.

These are some of the best cared for horses in the world.

Send me any amount of money to my bank account and I will return you 4 times the amount back.
I love how the guard just stays on the ground for the remainder of the video like so dramatic we love a queen 👏👏
They're trained to do that. Stay down and stay still until the medic checks them.
I’m colorblind so I can’t see anything on here besides black and white 😖
More training needed.
The old hag queen will have them both drawn and quartered!
I'm thinking about hamburgers....

rider alright? Knocked out that is too bad.

no discipline to grab the horse, the horse had more discipline and returned to the ranks.

I took this same fall as a kid. Not fun.
These are the Queen's Irish Blacks correct? They are an old-fashion breed, bred in Ireland and are large, 16.3-18 hands.
They are Irish Sport Horse bred -nothing "oldfashioned" about them.
Epic
Hope that guard was ok. ??? I have to agree. These horses are Always throwing their heads. Wrong tack

Wisdom from my Dad: never a horse that can not be rode, never a rider that can not be throwed
If you don't like to ride, I got a horse that don't like to be rode
