Secondly, Adjusted RSquare = 0.308 indicates the adjusted proportion of variance explained by the independent variable, which is slightly lower than the unadjusted RSquare due to the adjustment for the model's complexity and sample size. If not, focus on your study's variables only Ok. From my years of experience in research, I have come to learn that there are no rules guiding whether to add control variables or not. Most importantly, ensure that you're clear about every steps taken.
