What happened, why was Robert so different compared to past? NOTE - ...

Bloodraven, also known as Brynden Rivers and three-eyed raven is probably the most important character in the whole show, he is the reason behind almost everything that has happened in the series, starting from the prophecy of Azor Ahai to the appearance of Others, from the Nobel prince to almost godlike character, his development into who he becomes later is one of the most interesting transfo...

What Paul Atreides Actually Become In Dune Messiah - Dune Timeline Explained
Talk about a show we need... post Aegon's conquest.
Finely someone spok the truth.
Usually after a movie, I pee then smoke a blunt.
No matter how much they tried to butcher my boy they couldn’t. Long live the true king Aegon II Targaryen and the most beautiful dragon Sunfyre
Outlived everyone that tried to take the throne Glad he didn’t kill Aegon III. His story to me is fascinating. His attachment to Gaemon Palehair. His defiance at Maegor’s holdfast with his protector at the drawbridge is made for cinema
Dameon is my favorite character This was good info video , thank you !
it wasn't a kidnapping, Lyanna went willingly
Sunfyre is THE most beautiful dragon in history not "one of".
Keep making these vids ngl they’re keeping me sane
Small pushback, Robert barathion couldn't physically love anyone else, I'm willing to bet every single whore he took looked somewhat like lyanna, same reason why he whispered her name in cerscies ear when they were intimate. He felt that she completed him (lyanna) and he could never have her.
Thank you so much I’ve been waiting for this one
I wish the show didnt make the Blacks seem to be the protagonists, I much rather seem them both be awful
Whenever I read the book, still find it more entertaining than the show version. The blacks were certainly not innocent but Rhaenyra felt more like a protagonist who wants to defend her claim and revenge her dead son.
I mean they kinda are in the book too
Stop posting racist post... Wait, what😂😂😂
Amazing quality. The art, the voice reading the script, all very professional
I love house of the dragon, season 1 particullary but Melerys and Rhaena scape is the most stupid thing in all the asoiaf series including season 7 and 8. What kind of writer shows the biggest killing of smallfolk in the series until that moment as a honorable decision because she didint kill 7 highborn traitors( i agree with the writers that Rhaena didint had reasons to join the blacks and kill half of his family in the name of the woman that probably kill his son or the claim of his obviosly bastard sons). Probably kill 200-500 unnamed persons just to make a cool looking point on how feminist, gorgeous and brave woman Rhaena is shows how bad the writers understand what feminism is, giving priority to the struggle of female characters located in the 1% of nobility, owners of their own exclusive private organic jet full of napalm, a 1% of a 1% while showing us 0 empathy towards the hundreds of deaths of the same people they swore to protect and defend, caused by just not waiting 20 minutes to run away, i felt so disconected from this scene, where the only supposed decent person in the room do a terror atack on civilians to warn the ones that are the root of the problem, it felt like it was writen by a spoiled brat pretending to look progressive but with 0 empathy with poor people . Season 2 did that moment even worst when they show the dissaprobal of that same people when that dragon is killed. That city has half a million persons living in it, if 500 person died, 0,1% of his population is killed by just one dragon in the worst terror attack since Maegor burn the Sept. The writers seing the smallfolk as just expendable deaths we must forget because the person that killed them is said by writers to be a good person is just bad writing, probably not even the Mad king Aerys kill that many persons in his lifetime (well, thanks to Jaime)
Damn, i do need to learn how to summarize 😂😂😂
tbf Cersei blew up Westeros' most important holy site along with half of the most powerfull nobles in the world with absolutely no consequences
@minnumseerrund well at least cersei is a villain of the show but apparently we can't call Rhaenys the same way.
@@Loki-g3k that's true. My only point was that both shows have pretty huge wtf moments that make the writers look kinda silly
@@minnumseerrund yes, but it was not widely known by all who could see, that Cersei did that. So that is not a fair comparison (among other reasons).
The fact that aegon is a bad person and a even worst monarch and still a great and very interesting character is 100% merit of Tom acting
Insert Rhaenyra's own grandson who take steps in legitimizing his own bastards much like his grandmother.
He is the most hated king because most of the fans didn't read the book to find out about other Targaryen monarchs.
Great video. Your channel definitely deserves more attention
well done, video deserves way more than 21k views most definitely subscribing 👌
This guy is a Cersei simp and Robert hater, trying to make it appear like Cersei wasn't always a narcissist c__t. Simp!
Lyanna keeps being one of the most annoying characters for me. The ammount of hypocricy. "Robert will not be a dutifull and loyal husband and man". Proceeds to cheat on her fiance (failing her duty as one), proceeds to fail her duties a noblewoman and daughter of her noble father, and goes to cheat with a married man and father of multiple children. Ah yes, great job. She is the perfect character representation of modern women. Insane standards for thee, no standards for me.
Simple answer - the dude got married
Paul is eren
Marriage with cercei and lyanna's death was the death of the true Robert after it he was a shell
You have to explain that the "shield wall" is not a wall of Force FIELD but basically a mountain range.
His dream girl didn’t want him so he concocted a kidnapping story to unite the banners against the Targs. Who just murdered Lord Stark and his oldest son…
Nope she was cleary taken by Rhaegar Who was just as mad as his father
No the Mad King demanded John Arryn to kill Eddard and Robert, but John Arryn refused and revolted to protect his wards. Read the books. Also Lyanna is awful and a hypocrite, she hates Robert for having one bastard, but then elopes with a married man with kids.
Really good video thanks!
fake news again. Robert absolutely wanted the crown. He loved having the power, shouting "I AM THE KING" any time things didn't go his way. He pounded this mentality into joffrey. He was completely irresponsible, and wouldn't have half the number of feasts if he wasn't the king, because of the wealth he stole. He wasn't the type of person to obey anyone, hence him being an usurper. He wanted all the advantages and none of the disatvantages, he didn't attend more than ~3 council meetings. THAT is what he "didn't want" about the crown. A complete self absorbed narcissist. A stupid vicious king, just like joffrey. He didn't had his blood, but he had his personality. He shouted, on a whim, "I'LL HAVE YOUR HEAD ON A SPIKE" to his best friend, ned stark. "charismatic"??? Everyone around him feared for their lives. He treated people like trash, mocking them (lannisters, his own wife, even hit her, raped her) he is one of the most uncharismatic, evil characters. It reminds me of that guy "karl tanner" band of mutineers, night's watch, who had a huge mouth, mocked people, bragged about how great of a warrior he was, wanted to be the top dog, threatened anyone HE felt threatened by, because of his own insecurity, and when the time came for a fight... sure, he was decent, but he still got killed. You idiots claim robert baratheon was "the good guy" or "charismatic" simply because you're far too dumb to think for your own. And ned stark helped him. He was also not a good guy. People aren't "the good guy" just because the story tells you. Another example: draeneris. I knew 100% she was a lunatic psychopath when she was at the gates of that trader city, in the desert, begging for help, and for some stupid reason she refused to show her dragons as proof. She then threatened to KILL everyone "with fire and blood". And she proved herself when she destroyed king's landing. You idiots didn't want to listen.
fake news, rhaegar didn't kidnap lyanna
Say what you will about Bobby D but ultimately one of my 10 favorite characters from ASOIAF. Never will be another like him, so much comedic value. “Bow ya sh***!”
Thank the gods for Bessie!
So many normies don't know how the rebellion started. I don't know if their ignorant or just stupid. Here's how it started! Robert’s Rebellion officially began in response to the actions of Prince Rhaegar Targaryen, who allegedly abducted Lyanna Stark, Ned Stark's sister and the fiancée of Robert Baratheon. The event triggered outrage, especially after an attempt to seek justice was met with brutality. When Lyanna’s father, Lord Rickard Stark, and her older brother, Brandon, went to the capital to demand her return, they were executed by King Aerys II, also known as the Mad King. The Mad King then demanded the heads of Robert Baratheon and Eddard Stark, forcing them into rebellion rather than face execution. This response brought the Starks, Baratheons, and Tullys (since Ned was betrothed to Catelyn Tully) together in an alliance, along with House Arryn, where Ned and Robert had been wards. Their cause ultimately gained enough support to overthrow the Targaryen dynasty, marking the start of the rebellion that would reshape Westeros.
"Peace has cost you your strength! Victory has defeated you!" - Bane from The Dark Knight Rises
SLEEP comes after. It's a silly story.
You only need 1 children to make a white walker.
Paul atreides is a Mary Sue
Did you leave out the Greyjoy rebellion?
Left out a lot and glossed over more. Do not recommend
Genghis Khan said it best. “Conquering a nation is easy. Ruling a nation is hard”.
One thing to think of-suppose Robert did have a trueborn child with Cersei and that child had Valrlarian features?
Great video Would love a video on Euron Greyjoy
This is what happens to a warrior when there are no wars left to fight!
The books strategically left out certain details regarding the batter between Robert and Rhagar. I believe Rhagar was cheap shotted
Me too
yes agree, reading the account, there seems to be an 'implication' that robert did not win 'fair', Rhagar wounded robert and had the advantage, when robert made the killing blow
23:11 OMG So Dune isn't only a cautionary tale against charismatic leaders in general, it's a cautionary tale against the religious lies of Islamists and Jihadists still moving wars in our time...
I love when i discover another ASOIAF channel
This is horrible but I think still not as bad as Diarrhea Targaryen, what a shitty life she had....
Is GRRM just kicking the can down the road until he kicks the bucket? That's a strong _maybe_
"If Blood Raven saw the Others regathering their strength, you think he would have sent word to Aegon V. But aegon was completely focused on returning dragons..." Maybe that _why_ he became so obsesssed with returning the dragons
That’s a good possibility as well
She got what she deserved and was looking for ☠️💩🤡👻
I think that the true take-away of the Dune Saga is a cautionary tale for budding authors: quit while you're ahead.
Isn't it contradictory to say that the prophecy is false? But on the other hand Paul's son is actually the one and they both try to find the lesser cruel path for humanity into humanity surviving, by seeing into the future. The Bene Gesserit can't foresee the future. So they could only try to manipulate it. So you could say they tried to manipulate it making up a prophecy which actually just became reality. Which doesn't make the prophecy false in anyway.
Think quaithe wanted to show Daenerys the long night to the east to show Daenerys the real enemy
Where I look at it is I see Paul as a main character he’s the first main character. And then his son is the second main character. But then I also see this as Dune has a lot of main characters. There are many main characters in different ages as I would call it
