This is why I'm single. So many men think that those things are enough to keep me around. I've got my one financial wealth and can do all those things for myself. The spiritual and emotional connection is what should be a priority. Not what someone can buy me. On the flip side, if a woman is looking for a man to provide these things, she's seen as a gold digger. If she can provide for herself she's seen as too masculine.

I'm a Canadian ghanaian and i remember hearing about this story. I think emotional irregularity, low morality, ungratefulness and lack of accountability all pkay a big factor in this story. Everyone loses.

People in general seem to be more angry in life. The "normal" slights people endure from others is going to result more in this type of answer unfortunately until people get a grip and get straight with God. An angry society left to control their own emotions w/o any overarching principles will be more susceptible to those dark thoughts.

Women are territorial also. If a man wanders off to another yard, he can go slew over there. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Why can't we be positive for once as Africans? I am surprised that people go to Africa and come back to say negative things about Africa as if there is no poverty in America. In Africa, we don't sleep on the streets and inside cars but here they do. The poverty level in America is higher than that of Africa but they go round to say they are giving Africa countries Aid meanwhile they can't aid their own people. Statistics show that in 2023, 42,000 people are shot dead in America yet nothing is done about it. Home sweet home we will go to Africa and stay never to come back to America. You cannot talk about the entirety of African Americans from what you've heard or seen of a few. The fact of the matter is that most African Americans who move or travel to Africa have the means to do so. Contrary to the prevailing narrative, many that move are retired with yearly income that is well above six figures. I'm really surprised by the number of young people who produce these videos and talk as if they understand the complexities of history, economics, and the politics of everyone other than themselves.
