Clyde the Ocelot
Aging males like Clyde the ocelot are giving hope to a new generation. Numbers in South Texas are dwindling. But conservationists are breeding the ocelot in captivity in the hopes of releasing newborns when the time is right. The breeding resulted in a birth earlier this year.

It's persisted despite the Gulf Cartel, the Zetas, the Cartel Del Noreste, the Escorpios and the Metros. The idea is always the same put out information anonymously. To put your name on a post like this would be deadly.

I would love to help with this! I want to see more ocelots!
Save the giraffe 🦒 and cheetah 🐆 We are fortunate to see many of these animals exist which may not exist anymore at some point in the distant future. We definitely have an impact. Thanks to everyone doing what they can dedicating their time to conservation efforts.
Now bring Snake with .45 and Single Action Army for Ocelot
Looks like Babou put on weight.
Clyde might be better named "Bubba" with that Texas belly he's got...
stop removing animals from yours original habitat, south america in case
McDonald and KFC diet
Where can I buy one I really want to get one.
You can't. They're protected species due to extremely low, dangerous numbers.
That is the fatest ocelot I have ever seen.
It seems as if Clyde is the "Burt Lancaster" of ocelots, more or less.
From Austin didn’t know these Cats where here as well! Man what a handsome vicious kitty 🐱
who is also viewing this after watching archer?
Such a beautiful boy.🥰👍🏻
That cat look like a mini jaguar
Now I live in the peaceful city of Chicago
I’m glad I left Laredo in 2001
Cat too fat so you not looking after him well . Way too fat . Wtf
Thank you Eddie Canales for all y'all do for immigrants and refugees!
that is a fat ocelot
Dude talks to the ocelot exactly how I'd talk to him. *"CLyDeCLyDe ThassaGudBoiCLYdE!"* looool
Ocelots are not bred as pets, you cannot tame them.
You can tame any cat
@@ahmedbabiker6562 That's really not true.
Beware of ocelots. They're capable of double cross.
Revolver...ocelot?
Such a beautiful animal. Never new they were living in my state. Need to give them a huge sanctuary.
It wasn't a written rule on the books at the time, and the issue seemed more pressing than the removal of a hat. They should have shown the clip in its entirety.
Damn boy he THICK
Where can I purchase
chinatown
Cat lovers everywhere, their numbers are dwindling! Quick lets make it legal to adopt these cute wild cats as pets and domestic them like their non-spotted cousins
That would be nice but most people don't have the money or capacity to take care of them and if you don't get them when they're a newborn they can become violet and can be lethal but if people wear a neck guard and safety goggles around it they should be ok other than that it's about the size of a Maine coon fully grown
When i was a kid in the 70's my dad had a Ocelot he got from a friend of his before i was born. It was a great cat. Before you consider one as a pet I will tell you the shit that those cats produce has the nastiest smell shit could have. He kept it in the basement and so it would crap down there and everyone could smell it. It was horrible. I remember we had a regular domesticated cat too and we did keep them separated but when the ocelot saw the other cat she would chase her and that cat would jump on the kitchen counter then to the top of the refridge to avoid being caught. A couple times she'd bypass the counter and jump to the top of the refridge from the floor. That ocelot certainly would have made a killing if she ever caught her. She never did.
lil porkah 😂👍
Ocelots are proud creatures. They prefer to hunt alone.
am sure most readers didnt get the reference haha
Lol did an ocelot tell you that? They’re manipulative buggers arent they? 😂
@@LemonKushDeadside they don't have to tell you that you can just watch them
You're pretty good.
Funny untill the TV show Archer never knew they were small cats .
Ah yes they have tamed it with just 4 raw salmon
Needs a diet
Evolution is one the worst fake news in the world. Get to study the Bible and find a reason for you life! We're not products of a random event. We have a Creator that loves us and wants us all happy.
Would be cute if it weren't obese. Can't be very well cared for looking like this.
Can I have a pair as pet?
No
Here kitty kitty
We have them in my area. And they come around our house. We leave food for them and they are not afraid of us. I will protect them. They are my friends. My Property, my Rules. Trespass? And people are in trouble here in the Southwest. Including Forest Rangers or any other folks.
I bet you don’t have a rodent problem, we do same with coyotes in New York lol
Clyde's a thick boy lol he's living good 🙂
For Real
Let Chinese do the breeding. They did great on Pandas.
However... sadly. Pandas are slowly becoming human dependent.
Pretty good
Animals imprisoned and raised by people often turn out looking very weird. Thanks to too much chemical medicine, vaccines and stupid industrially processed chemical foods.
@@Lightscribe225 That's a silly example. Pandas are naturally bulky just like other bears. But where have you ever seen an ocelot in the wild looking like Garfield?
@@Lightscribe225 "willingly getting vaccinated if it meant getting their favorite food." I don't suppose you see a problem with that statement. On your other assertions: First of all, the only reason why panda numbers were declining in China is human activity largely in pursuit of western civilization. Secondly, you try to portray the west as a savior of sorts but I guess you don't know hundreds of species went extinct in the process of establishing "America", "Australia" and even at the height of "modernizing" Europe. The west didn't ask anyone for help to keep those species alive doesn't mean they're saviors of anything. On the contrary, most species on earth would have done quite well in the absence of Westerners and westernization. I'm guessing you have no idea how many plant species have gone extinct due to the globalization of western chemical farming methods and GMOs. Western culture is ruining this planet at an exponentially fast pace
That’s a big ocelot
Ay murio raul torres de vagon chicano
Good report
The way he said "good boy" made me laugh
That ocelot looks fat.
release them in my orchard, we have a serious squirrel problem. Funny how humans project their ideals and hopes on a cat that doesn't give a rats ass.
Man stfu kill Squirrel's because you're an idiot. They need to be released into Mexico were they belong
@@conEso916 texas and mexico are the same habitat
@@Junkmailcrusades I know it so is Califas and many other Murica states but they don't get it.
Needs to be on diet
He's 13, which is like 90 for an ocelot. He's probably the oldest one in the world, or at least very close to it, I think they know how to raise them properly.
@@Just_Pele he's obese
How could you run down an ocelot!!
Because most animals don’t understand how dangerous cars can be, so they run out in front of them while crossing the road.
