@ Maybe, but today I have more comfort, better fuel economy, way better off-road capability, easier trailside repairs try changing out an alternator or starter in the dirt on a 200) less disabling tech to fail, equal payload and towing, better warranty, way easier to modify, less modifications necessary……. My 2013 Land Cruiser before 100,000 miles had water pump replaced, radiator replaced, timing chain oil cover leak fixed (lucky not the cam towers) and the automatic folding on the driver side review mirror failed estimated cost to repair $2,300, lower control arms replaced. The XM radio could never be made to work after $1,500 of antenna installations. Our 2021 every time we descended white bird pass the breaks would heat up and cause the scariest death wobble I have ever experienced and I’ve owned every proper Jeep except a YJ since my first car a 1980 CJ5, dealer could do nothing. The voice recognition didn’t work in either car, they are prone to rust which the Grenadier has a 12 year warranty against. As good as the Land Cruisers are I couldn’t be happier with a Magna Styer Tuned B58 in front of a ZF transmission that is proven reliable with appropriate maintenance even in cars tuned to produce over 700 hundred horses, the Grenadier has been detuned to less than 300 with other improvements and modifications specifically to provide greater dependability, reliability and longevity as well as more low rpm torque. The Grenadier is simpler than the Land Cruiser. Just consider the true fully manual Tremac transfer case that provides low range unlocked and all 8 forward gears in low range and if that were the only difference it would be worth it. You may be right but to me it’s worth being the lab rat. But, after 1.8 million kilometers of testing and sales world wide in places like Africa and Australian for going on four years with zero reported failures I’m pretty confident. Not to mention I made money on both Land Cruisers and that wouldn’t be the case, right now at least. But, most importantly, I just like being in the Grenadier more, a lot more.

@@shootandcruise I’ve already taken mine places I wouldn’t dream of taking either Land Cruisers and 9 hour freeway slogs are way better than I was hoping. though 15,000 miles combined is no testament to reliability they are the only cars, besides the Land Cruisers, I had an 05 100 also, that haven’t had a check engine light or other glitch or minor recall or anything. So far so good. After market is on overdrive and new products and companies are announced seemingly daily providing all kinds of upgrades and mods. to date it’s been the easiest build I have ever done. White Knuckle rock sliders went on by myself to factory plates and welded threaded inserts like a dream. Winch, Bull bar and lighting easy peasy with factory switching and wiring including 500 yes 500 amp circuit for the winch to pre ran designated switched terminal and even a ground stud directly behind the winch mounting plate specifically for winch installation. I removed more than 6 feet of wire from the winch to connect which of course not only shows foresight by the engineers but will also make that high a,p draw more efficient. Most surprising is my wife prefers the Grenadier too, for different reasons maybe and ever her 78 year old mother in law bought one along with our daughter in law and a brother in law and they are not “off-road enthusiasts” they just like the car. Our oldest son wants one in the worst way but at 6’5” and a long torso, he can’t drive it. It has plenty of room including head room, but his problem is the window line is so low he looks at the top of the door frame left and right and can’t see traffic lights without ducking under the top windshield frame. Sorry I could rattle on for hours about this car not to mention this helps me organize my thoughts for an article I’m working on about the Grenadier and mods.
