As mentioned at 3:06 a free transcription has its limitations and a full transcription also lets you download MIDI. Sorry if this was not clear enough.

Generating audio with a google collab book and jukebox ai is free, yes! The Klangio apps allow you to do demo transcriptions for free :)

As mentioned in the video, you can try it out for free as much as you like.

Make sure to update your graphics driver and then try to render it with and without enabling your GPU. For me that solved the problem :)

Also, you retain the rights to content you submit to the Service. Feel free to read through the whole Terms and Conditions, you can find a link after uploading a transcription.

In this case, I'd recommend you try out Melody Scanner, especially the Lead Sheet Mode and the Piano Arrangement Mode. This will transform any song into notes for the piano, it might work with what you described :) If you just want to transcribe the melody you're singing, Sing2Notes will be your best bet. Sorry to hear the app didn't work for you. Usually Piano2Notes has a really high accuracy with piano recordings, would love to know what you tried to transcribe, so I can take a look at what's wrong :)

Do you mean for lyrics? If so, you could try out Melody Scanner. Otherwise, you can also download your sheet as a PDF and edit it with Adobe Reader (or any other PDF editor)

I think the overlapping might be caused by having multiple MIDI channels / Instruments in the MIDI file. To color them differently, you can add a second color profile (like i've shown in the video with the first one), and drag it into slot two. Let me know if it worked ;)

I assume you mean that one of them is playing back at a different speed than the other, so that you can't align it, right? If so, that's likely related to the tempo embedded in the MIDI file. Make sure, that your MIDI file has a tempo embedded into it, and that you use that tempo when rending it with your piano VST. Piano VFX will automatically use that tempo too, to render the video. Hope that helps :)

In this case, you'll need to render the sound in your midi file software, so you have a .mp3 or a .wav file. This file you can then add in PianoVFX and you will then get a video file with sound. Alternatively, you can use a video editor like DaVinci Resolve and add the audio to the video afterward.

Hey there, sorry to hear that. Keep in mind, that the apps transcribe music that only contains their respective instrument. In case the song you tried to transcribe only contains a piano, feel free to send it here, I'll have a look :) Also, the free and full transcriptions both transcribe with the same accuracy, so you don't need to pay to transcribe small sections at all. You can add audio in the main menu of PianoVFX. Alternatively, you can use a Video Editor like DaVinci to add it in afterward. Hope that helps :)

Piano2Notes especially works really accurate with recordings of Pianos. You can try out as many songs as you like for free with the demo transcriptions at piano2notes.klang.io Feel free to let me know if everything works fine.

@@Klangio So .. the first piece did okay, Which was completely all piano.The second not so much . The second piece had voice also, so I'm sure that was an issue 😕 I did sign up for a year. If I can get it to transcribe the notes correctly in the right bars. That would be Great 👍 But I am sure it is operator error 🤣

Glad to hear you've got some use out of it :) Yeah, Piano2Notes works best with pieces where exclusively pianos are audible. Regarding the issues with the right bars: A comprehensive Edit Mode is on the way and will be added in our next update. It will allow you to shift all notes to the right place, if the first downbeat wasn't detected correctly :)

I usually just crop it with Davinci Resolve. Don't think there is an option to do so directly in PianoVFX yet.

Yes, Guitar2Tabs also includes Bass Guitars. You can select your instrument in the additional information settings before transcribing.

Hey there, for transcribing singing you could try Sing2Notes, but as you've suggested it's processed online. The reason for this is, that it would take ages for the average personal computer to transcribe music with AI. So... I'm sorry can't help you out :/

Hard to say why that happens. You could try updating the driver of your GPU, or deactivate your GPU and try rendering it with your CPU entirely.

Hi, please note that our apps only transcribe single instruments (like the names of the apps suggest). Since "How Insensitive" contains more than just a piano, for example, the transcribed notes will of course result in an "unplayable mess". Feel free to try again with a song containing a singled out instrument and let me know if that works better :)

Sure! Currently, we're working hard on expanding the edit mode, which allows you to edit full transcriptions directly in your browser. Of course, you can also download the transcription as MIDI or MusicXML to edit them in a composition software or a DAW.

Don't worry, you don't need to download the UA-cam file to transcribe it with Piano2Notes. In the Web and Mobile apps, you'll find a section where you can simply enter the link of a UA-cam video without having to download it. Hope that helps!
