Inspector Harry Callahan meets the new traffic police officers inside the S.F.P.D. shooting range. It turns out that the rookies are on almost equal terms with him in revolver marksmanship. Trivia: - Harry mentions that he uses "light specials" in his S&W M29. This could mean that he uses weaker .44 Special ammunition instead of .44 Magnum in his revolver. However the dialogue in this scene was...

"Hello Mr. Green" . . . . . You didn't give me a chance!! . . . . you had your last chance!!
Harry Callahan is the type of character you want patrolling the streets as a police officer, but he even has lines he will not cross and a personal code he will not break, it is great Acting from Clint too embody the character and understand his characters personal morals
Judge Dredd and corrupted judges
“Check out that snatch bank too” 😆
Left handed thrower Harry "Dirty" Callahan
He look like Danny Glover in Lethal Weapon series
All those killer polices were Superstar later..
one shot too many...grin
I love it when people try to take the target load comment and claim Harry used factory 44 Special loads on the streets (yeah; a "light Special" REALLY made a 48 ounce revolver recoil clear over Harry's head when he dropped Scorpio at the stadium....)
Dirty Harry is the job. 100%
When Callahan was investigating shooting leads and ballistic stealth without them knowing it helped him get closer to undercover cop #1
Wherever and wherever people talk shop about sequels considered better than its predecessor or just as good. and/or not quite on level with the first flick yet when viewed on its own, not through a Part Two prism. it’s so rare to the point it’s more like never ever - when was the last great sequel list where this Dirty Harry entry got a spot? I’d wager there isn’t a time springing to mind right away or ever. MAGNUM FORCE is to DIRTY HARRY as ALIENS is to ALIEN. Ya dig? MAGNUM FORCE skates the rookie mistake most sequels make: they take the retread route that has all the same views/scenes and beats. It’s the play it safe, If It Ain’t Broke…approach. Problem with applying those antiquated sayings to movie making is movies arguably are the one area where not only do they not apply, they’re so intuitively counterproductive to making movies it’s like a singer or rock band making their second album a cover version of the first record. Nothing great in movies, music, or art ever comes de from playing it safe. Might as well whiz in the wind.
Too bad Clint's such a dick in real life.
Too bad that pond isn’t still there. Dive trip!
If only cops could legally handle drug cartels like this.
Does anyone know who the actor is who played Dickie? There doesn't seem to be a lot of information available about him
Crazy how Ulrich, Soul and Kiven (all younger than Eastwood) already passed on. Great actors. Great movie.
Wtf!!!!
なにをたべているのでしょう?気になる😮
Wonder what that area looks like today.
At the 0.59 simple Simon comment, if he knows that immediately after he get blown by a psycho vigilant cop😂, gotta love the Dirty Harry Franchise.
Seriously was an Actual Crime Committed Here?
The officer made one mistake...he left one in the chamber😊 Albert Popwell was a great actor playing many roles in the Dirty Harry series till his passing in 1999.
Powerful scene.
It must’ve been a great time to be a police officer before dashboard cams, and body cams.
The last movements of those heartbeats… Nice work, ‘Producers’.
That is what happens when anyone who is against the San Francisco 49ers discriminates them and as a result, they get executed for their troubles. Never disrespect the San Francisco 49ers and Roger Goodell should understand that and not discriminate the 49ers.
I want that big daddy pimpmobile!
It's been long enough. Time to see Magnum Force again.
At that time they were using Moto guzzi. For the traffic officers motorcycles that's very interesting as far as I know it's the only time Italian motorcycles have ever been used. I believe that's an Italian motorcycle anyway. Typically they always use Japanese bikes after they stopped using Harleys
There's very few movies that I enjoy watching it all this episode is really good I like this episode I like falling down movie there's very few that I like but this one's a really good episode this is exactly how you handle a situation like this the trick is to do this without any witnesses and without leaving any evidence in this case he left evidence the license on the ground told them a cop did it you can't leave license on the guy's lap or on the ground or anything like that
I have to wonder how many 70's kitchen chairs were sacrificed for the material to make that padded landau top!
"chance , bitch you had yo chance i was yo last chance everybody in this town threw ya black ass out" lol
Any idea where this limousine is today?
Everyone is always a bullet away from redemption
That was David Soul
Harry only used excessive force when necessary, these cops were just on a killing spree
I like this scene for the Guzzis.
Davis had also executed a cop in an earlier scene to avoid getting caught and Harry by now already had his suspicions that cops were involved in the recent spate of execution type murders in the city. Davis was the first on the scene to the cop murder and Harry couldn't work out how Davis was on the scene so quick. Harry shooting the cop target in the shootout competition is no mistake, he deliberately does it to show the crowed that cops can also be the bad guys sometimes.
😆😆🤡
Aaron Spelling no doubt watched this movie a lot when he was busy with the creation of Starsky and Hutch..."That's him! David Soul will be playing Ken Hutchinson!!, "
Most people don't realise the cops in this are the temple for a comic "Hero" in Judge Dredd
There’s like 10 motorcycle cops they can’t find the killers?😅
Either your for us or against us...the line George Bush used...after seeing this scene ?
While it seems harsh you have to admit there were a lot less people shitting on the streets of San Francisco back then.
Am I the only one who is taking away that the SFPD used to train officers to gut shoot people?!
Best movie of the bunch. And that's with three being classics, including this one.
👍
I've never worn sunglasses riding my motorcycle at night. Don't think I'll try, either.
😂
They went to arrest a violent criminal without SWAT and not wearing bulletproof vests??
