I spent Thursday evening at Doncaster filming someo of the comings and goings, Including Rail Advent HST's on the run to York and then back through to Kidderminster. One of the Network rail measurement trains hauled by a pair of 37's parking up for the day, the Network Rail class 153 was out as well. Plenty of Freight and passenger services as well.

I travelled to Carlisle as LNER were diverting services via the West Coast Main Line. Also while there the Eastriggs Eloper and the Settle Carlisle Steam Special arrived.

We start at Wakefield Kirkgate for the Drax 50th special & then head Sowerby Bridge for the Transpennine diversions & also the Settle & Carlisle special heading from Hull to Carlisle. North West Wanderer at Hellifield

I travelled to Hellifield to see the North West Wanderer running classic traction. Firstly a Class 45 with Class 50 on the rear. Then later the service was back from Preston with a Class 40 leading. Then finally Statesman were running a service with Tangmere leading. As always please do subscribe as I would like to get to 500 subscribers by the end of this year.

On Tuesday the 28th of May I travelled down to Doncaster to get some footage for one of my highlights videos. I got so much footage that I've decided to make it's own dedicated video. This will be the first of a series of videos where I've got footage but none of it was worth it's own video. So the first location was Loughborough Station after visiting the Great Central Railway Steam Gala. The second location was having a little time at Manchester Piccadilly before we finish off on the Calder Valley line with the Midland Pullman.
