If your friends are mixing drinks at local parties and they are only mobile bartenders providing the bartending service then they don't need to get a license. Good evening, To prefix this we are not POS providers by any means just from what we see with our clients that have vs don't have POS systems. That being said it's all going to come down to how you keep inventory and keep your books. From what I understand those specific ones should be able to communicate with your quickbooks account. lol we don't want you lost in the sauce! You are correct its different all across our great country. Some states are 3 Tier states while others are not (Texas is). We have heard of the lottery system in CA. We have been told about businesses selling their license in NY to other individuals. In Texas, the business gets the permit. The state sets the fees and we have no idea where they come from. Hope this helps. -Evan

Hi, Yes similar answer to the question you asked on the other video. The business entity will be the one to get the TABC permit. Unfortunately, you can not buy the permit from someone else. That being said there is no lottery or limit to the number of permits. If your business is eligible then you can apply for the permit and get one. @@hernandezandassociates Thanks for getting back with all of this information. I had no IDEA there were states where you could become licensed for a reasonable amount. I ran an underground bar on and off way back in the mid-nineties for a couple of years(too risky), and ever since have just kinda worked here and there at horrible jobs like gas stations for terrible pay and a horrible experience. Maybe now I'll have another chance.
