Jason Isbell & the 400 Unit are releasing their new record Here We Rest on April 12th. The record business isn't always as glamorous as it may seem. The band could use some tour sponsorship and they wanted to share with your their video on trying to gain such a sponsorship.

Watching this is 2024 in Iraq. Can’t wait to get home to Athens
Man they should have gone into another solo at the end. Insane momentum
My wife and I just saw Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit at the Kresge Auditorium-MI in Interlochen, MI. We were really lucky to see Him and his crew at such a great small venue. He surprised everyone with a great cover of The Cure's Just like heaven.
The best country-rock song ever
You are god damn right
just found this video, damn man KILER! Christ i was a Jr in high school when this was recorded you can hardly recognize Cooley. I f888888 love jasons voice. HIs departure from DBT was a hard blow but in the end i think both parties, especially Jason and his sobriety made out all the better for it. AS someone whos struggled continuously with my sobriety ( think Live from Plan 9 and Pizza Deliverance and A Blessing and a Curse on constant repeat and it pretty much sums up the last 16 0f my 34 years on this plant!) These fine folks, together and after they went their own ways (along with Shonna's sadly short lived and tragically concluded work with Porter and the Blue Bennett Rattle Snakes) have gotten me through the hardest of times and the best of times. just loveeeee this! if you love this check out Jason's covering Patterson's "The Asassin" live....the video and sound quality on this vid is far superiors but man does JI do that song justice!
Damn good
Makes me think about Damon Scott!! Love you guys
It's when I first heard them and Jason Isbell.. a work of art,,
Cooley, Hood, Isbell what a powerhouse of writers
100%
Cool-ey top Song
I love her Music 😃
damn. Isbell looks tired
The truckers rock, really miss the old lineup!
Ms. Tucker can flat out jam.
God is this good.
My God that was amazing.
Wow, this is awesome! Kudos to whoever had the forethought to capture the performance with multiple cameras.
Great voice!
It's amazing that that's Jason fuckin Isbell
Love this shit...
wow fourteen years ago. damn that was a band and I miss them
18 now. A lot of changes since then for them and us
Not the same band without Jason
Mr. Cooley is a Stones/Keith Richards fan no doubt.....this would have rocked on Exile On Main Street!.........
Hell yeah this would fit on exile!! LOVE IT
0.30 is very early Mick Jagger
Love this tune
Not cool how they shoved Shonna in the back.
I have Gravity's Gone and Don't be so easy on yourself, Live at Grimey's if anyone has more please post them .
Best working band today.
Look at those three. Peas in a pod
First comment in 7 years - wow glad this has been unearthed - amazing
Legends
Great song by a great band and song writers. Isbell is doing very well on his own and with 400 Unit, and love his stuff. Glad that Patterson & Cooley are still working together well. Chemistry still at work. English Oceans and American Band show they may even be getting better with age. Just great!
Idk how many albums she has recorded. But Welder is my Fav. So far. May be amended, may not. I'm a Libra
Does this music in this song sound a lot like take it easy or am I just hearing shit?
I'm a 798 pipeline welder, love her&the music
Hell Man everyone one stage are Monster writers !!! (personally think Isbell's the best Guitarist AND writer) but it's like whats better Jack or Jim Beam .. all personal opinion, Patterson is a killer at it all too .. (but yeah cooley is a badass)
Jim Beam, Tennessee whiskey will kill ya.
I was mowing the lawn listening to Spotify. My song list ran out and this came on randomly. I'm not a lyric guy, I like guitar. But I had to stop and listen to this a few times before I could keep mowing. Those lyrics just drew me in, and as a musician I can relate.
Damn thought I was the only one lol, found a ton of great artists that way. And I too am a drummer lol
Shonna.
Sunny side down, or over easy .... ?
god dammit this kicks sooooo much ass
I been falling so long, its like gravity's gone and I'm just floating
Gawdam!
yeah this was the best lineup I think but I still love these guys even today.
Great band. Jason Isbell is tearing it up.
Props to their sound man!
you're an idiot
Just another great american band...
think that's a proud dad,or what?
Mike Cooley is one of the best songwriters walking the earth. Period.
Isbell is sooo great. DBT are a lesser band imo without him, and the loss of Sharon Tucker is bad too. Still good, just not great any more.
