Quick and easy leveling kit install. If you have the tools you can easily get this done. I used the Motofab leveling kit which will be linked in the description. The Motofab leveling kit offers an amazing ride on and off the road. I would highly recommend this one for something quick and affordable while keeping the comfortability and ride of the amazing 2016 Silverado. Item: www.americantrucks...
2016 Chevy Silverado cold air intake install! (Cold Air Inductions)
Переглядів 3,3 тис.5 років тому
Accidentally used a 24mm prime lens so the video will look zoomed in. Besides that this is a cold air induction intake install. I am actually very satisfied with the intake and would recommend it if you can handle the nose. In reality, all cold air intakes have an aggressive sound but I do not mind this one! HONDA REBUILD PART 3 (Motor swap)
Переглядів 5 тис.6 років тому
The final part of the Honda rebuild series where we didn't have any issues with it after it was finished Sergio drove the car to work, school and daily errands like burnouts and Vtec pulls on those freaking corvettes and mustangs - No Just Kidding definitely WINS the MPG battle though - Enjoy and leave a comment to help us out. Thanks.

Nice looking rims 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
This is a big help
Oh and that was with the 2” rough country shocks
Bro any problems after that leveling? I run in to a lot of problem first upper hat to be replace for one with more angle then stock wheels and tires star rubbing with it and I put 2” spacers but some ticking noise that never when away serious it wasn’t worth it
I cut my rubber grommets off with a Dremel and a thin cutting wheel
You can't just casually mention the thrust washers after-the-fact. A first-time builder will have to be shown when to do it. Yet another reason to put in the crank first.
Siick
Just wait until you put some weight on it 😂😂😂😂😂
Get you some bigger tires now foo
Looks awesome I have same truck I just hate that the back looks lower. I am going to be doing my truck 2.5 in front and 2 inch rear
It’s goin to nose dive 🤮🤮
So how do you install the new ones once you remove the old ones?
Just press them on with your fingers or use a socket and a hammer
It's not that difficult they're rubber you can put a lil wd40 on if you want and just push them on at an angle twist em around a bit and they'll go on you won't break them or you shouldn't anyway lol
It’s kinda stupid the way these things are made they the manufacturers really don’t want you to replace them there needs to be a better design
Is this because you kept the upper control arms stock? Upgraded control arms would make ball joints much happier in 3” levels
Been running 3 and 2 in from Motofab for the past 150 thousand miles no issues with balljoints or axles and the ride is fine dont be a puss
I have a 95 civic dx 5speed manual that I want learn how to rebuild an engine. This video inspires me to do the same thing as you guys.
Or you can just cut it off with a blade haha
Where do you get the grommets/washer ??? Good video lol
They come with the gasket set
Bring back the eg video please.
What is the best way to get 3" lift on 2015 silverado 4x4 ?
Moto fab also makes a 3” level
Did you seriously call a strut spacer a wheel spacer and call a strut a coil over?
Are you mad bro?
does it ride good still or very bumpy?
at 1:14 is that the Breather box in the upper right hand corner? Where the tip of your thumb is? I am going to take mine off to clean it... So it's right above the oil filter! Yes?? And I have a D15B7
I have a D15B7 completely stock all the way around. Started Working on my car 2 years ago replacing parts, tuning it up, cleaning it up, replacing seals, O Rings etc.... Can someone make a list of things I can do to this engine to get more Horsepower out of it?
Did you loosen up all the upper control arm bolts or just the one that’s attached to the spindle, I tried installing this kit but the upper control arm would not come out
Hammuuurrrr
I wouldnt spray windows cleaner that contain alchohol on plexiglass.....
Where did you guys order everything from
Those brackets are discontinued 😪
yes they are but they work so good
What was the measured thickness of spacer .
What torque specs did you use?
How much compression?
where can I buy this kit?
Ball joints are still good after this time with the 2.5 in?
Yes, ball joints still good. If anymore than 2.5 then ball joints would be terrible
Throw A Rod not if u upgrade upper control arms which you should do anyway because the stock ones are shit
just a question, is there any way i could get a parts list or and pointers on where i should get parts for this engine i just bought a 91 civic hatchback and was wanting to rebuild the engine. i wanted to stay with oem specs as much as possible. thanks so much i love the videos
Looks like a truck should look very nice
So I start by taking out the middle then the outer 3 right?
No! dont take out the middle! Take out the 3 outer only!
@@throwarod7549 lol middle comes out last. gotcha
Plz reply what harness
What harness did u use for this motor y8/Zc
Congrats man. I’m in LPN school through the military and then plan on becoming a RN. I’m also looking at a 2016 white Z71. Lol
what's wrong with the 3 inch level?
Too big for the stock suspension over time the ball joint will pop loose if you want to do a 3" go with upgraded control arms
RC control arms will solve that problem after the upgrade angle of the rough country control arms you should be set.
In theory 3” is too big for upper control arms. But I’ve had 3” spacer in for 2 years on my 2014 Sierra and my stock upper control arms are still good. I’ll eventually change the upper control arms but for now they’re still in good shape.
You can go with the 3’’ spacer lift on from moto fab but to sorriest the angles you should go with the UCA’s as well. Ive had a couple people do that and its just fine.
@@michaelreed1670 yeah I’ve had my 3” motofab for a couple years with zero issue, but I also don’t treat my truck like a toy. The most off-roading I do is logging roads for hunting. I’ll save the thrashing around the dirt for my dirt bike and four wheelers.
Nice. Would it be same set up for a 2011 Z71?
2.5 inch spacer can be easily found on for 2011 Silverado. Yes, the setup is practically the same.
Lol they forgot to put the thrust bearings in
Your wheels in the bed you’re referring to are called tires. Wheels are the rims. Just FYI.
Clean truck my brother just got his 2019 6.5 I think is too much
Follow my Instagram @theseventhadventure or @_sergi I post there more often and can actually see the truck of how it sits now. The Instagram page is geared towards an offroad rig. Thanks!
I like helping people out,so On my 19' z71, (classic)Canadian version, so 18' body. I had a 2" and now a 3" motofab front 2¼ rear blocks. YOU WILL NEED UPPER CONTROL ARMS. And diff drop spacers. The angles are way to much. I do have a few videos on this. 1500km and the 3" caused my factory ball joints to work themselves out ⅛ out.
Anything higher than 2.5 you will need to modify a lot of your suspension components. At this point, I would recommend a full Coilover suspension vs spacers
Anything under 3” for a spacer lift keeps the suspension geometry well within factory geometry allowances. 3” and up is too much for a spacer lift and would absolutely require UCAs and possibly a differential spacer. I have a 2019 LT z71 and just ordered the 2.5” front/ 2” Rear kit. If you look at the GM performance lift that comes from the factory on the Trail Boss, there are no modifications other than strut spacers and shocks or shock extenders and the geometry angles are fine. Don’t get me wrong, UCAs would definitely help preserve the upper ball joint, but is not necessary and differential drops are a bit of an overkill for a sub 3” lift. In your case maybe not, but then why spend all the money trying to sort it out when you can install a 4” lift with UCAs and diff drops included? To each his own I guess. I had a 2017 Lt1500 with the same 2.5” lift and had zero joint or CV damage for over 36k miles. Would you still be able to clear your wheels and tires if you dropped the top spacer down to 2” or 2.5”? That would be my suggestion from personal experience.
Mine is a 2wd, which is 1.5” lower than 4x4 in front. Does that mean I can afford to go with 3” spacer? I’m not sure if Upper control arms are same on both 2wd & 4wd. And any different between this style spacer and the C shape spacer?
Hugo Arreguin raising your front end with a spacer lift would be the same as on a 4x4 model. 3” is 3” over stock geometry. I always recommend keeping any spacer style lift 2.5” or less. 2” is really the ideal amount of lift before you start to really stress your suspension components. That being said, even at 2” it’s best to run the spacers with new shocks and Upper control arms. Or at least just UCA’s to correct the ball joint angles
Hey man so I just got my 3’’ leveling kit. Should I just return it and get a 2.5’’ cause I’m not trying to replace my UCAs or cause any excessive wear.
Have you noticed any problems since installed?
I have not had any problems at all. This spacer lift is very good due to the fact that it is not aggressive.
Great vid looking into the new Moto fab 2.5 level for my 2020 Silverado.
did you ever do this? I am looking into replacing my 2" lower strut with the motofab 2.5" upper strut but my only worry is not being able to turn the strut 180 degrees.
@@wingnut72282 Hi, no not yet been busy- Plan on doing it next week. Ill let you know how it goes. bro. thx
@@alceja3522 Did you get to it? I finally got my kit just have to set aside time for the install.
