2020+ Ford Explorer ST Evap Valve Replacement.
Переглядів 1,2 тис.2 місяці тому
This video shows the location and some shortcuts on how to change the evaporation canister valve solenoid on a 2020 and newer Ford Explorer with a 3.0 twin turbo. I’m assuming it’s the same for the Lincoln aviator with the 3.0 L V6. I tried to add some text to the video describing how to the clips that are not visible in the video but that didn’t work out. There are 4 connectors. We will call 1...

Samsung NE58F9500SS Thermal Switch Replacement.
Переглядів 17 тис.3 роки тому
If you display is out and the oven door is locked after trying to use self clean, it is likely this common problem. The most difficult part is removing and replacing the single screw that hold the thermal switch in. Tools needed is a number 2 Phillips screwdriver and a 90 degree Phillips screwdriver. A multi-meter if you want to test the switch instead of just replacing, but I don’t go into tha...

Have same code. How many miles on it when the code came up? Mine is at 43k right now
How long till engine light goes away? I changed mine but still on
OMG, thank you so much! that worked like a charm and was easy to replace. My husband was able to remove on screw on the locking mechanism and lifted the whole thing.. we also found a baby mouse very dried out in the upper fan blades. whether that lead to the failure of not, we don't know, but all is well now. thank you for your video!!!
Do not use aftermarket purge valve and buy OEM. I installed aftermarket and failed a month or two after installing. Replaced with factory OEM and worked great. 2020 Explorer ST
I bought the Napa brand and the design seems to improve on the OEM. It was just over $70. I will let everyone know how it works. Comes with a 3 year warranty. The original one lasted 4 years.
Thank you!

This is for the 3.OL in the ST. The part for the 2.7L is probably different. www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/ford,2020,explorer,3.0l+v6+turbocharged,3444717,exhaust+&+emission,vapor+canister+purge+valve+/+solenoid,4936
It was not. Initially just a check engine light with occasional hard starting after fueling.
Was it making any noise or sounds when you would be idling or when drive ?
No noise, just a check engine light and occasional hard starting after fueling.
SAMSUNG - DUEL OVEN, Samsung ne58f9710w range - Seems like many have different issues all wondering if this will fix their issue. Seems like many have different issues all wondering if this will fix their issue. For me, here are my symptoms - Broiler does not work at all. Element does not come on; Upper oven does nothing. When set to 450 (for example), the temp gauge will say 175 with a flashing star next to it but that's it. Nothing heats up. When the bottom oven is selected and is also set to 450, the lower oven does heat up but seems to take forever. After 45 minutes, the temp gauge read 439 and again with a flashing star next to it. (Im guessing the flashing star indicates the set temp has not yet been hit...) I'm guessing I need a thermostat for the top oven. However, I don't know if this model range has one or two (thermostats), and if 2, does the top one also control the broiler or is that something altogether different? What about this 'thermal fuse?" I am open to any and all suggestions...
I'm having almost the exact same issue on my Samsung, the only difference being that my bottom oven heats up quickly, but the top oven has zero heating at all (only what is transferred from the bottom oven).
Thank you SOOOOO much. Worked exactly as shown!!!!
My oven did the exact same thing but my thermal fuse is 1807 KSD-150LC, and I can’t find it anywhere on Google?? Would it make a difference if I got the one you have or is it specific for the oven
I have the two same Samsung appliances. I hate them both. Pieces of crap. Never a Samsung again
👉💯👈 about Samsung....
The part being replaced is the Thermostat...referred to here as a "thermal fuse."
I do not think that is correct. It is listed as a fuse on all the parts sites. They have a pre-set temperature rating and will open the circuit if that temp is exceeded to prevent damage.
How can you test the thermal switch to see if it’s the faulty part?
PLEASEEEE . DO YOU KNOW WHERE IS THE THERMOSTAT LOCATED IN THIS RANGE. ????????
My range is turning off when I open the oven door. Could be the same problem?? I am searching it up for answers . Thank you
I doubt it. Once the fuse blows, the oven will not start working again until it it replaced
I replaced mine successfully (thanks to this vid) and oven worked like a champ for a few months. Then I went to bake a cake. after 15 minutes I smelled burning. the oven said 350 but I tested it with one of those point and shoot thermometers and it was 500. I bought a new switch from Parts Warehouse and will attempt a second time. If that doesn't work, I might be adding a range to the landfill.
Mine has the same issue what did you do?
Likely the relay that power the oven element(s) is welded itself into the ON position, so the element is ON all the time. On my Samsung NE58F9710 oven there is a circuit board in the back side of the oven. On there are 3 large relays, mine are Golden GK-A-1A-12D. I bought them on-line for about $4.00 each and replaced all three of them. I've since replaced the top broiler relay again because it gets the most use. Its a poor design using relays to switch the elements ON/OFF to control the temperature. The contacts soon weld themselves together and it could cause a fire. It's a wonder these don't get recalled as a fire hazard!
I have the same oven. There is a small dot flashing along with the 175 temperature (It is not heating). I have tested the heating element and also the temperature sensors (everything is fine). Any idea about what could be the issue? Thank you in advance.
YOU SAVED MY OVEN! I will say the part we received from Amazon had a slightly larger mounting disc than original. I just ignored the built in “mounting flap” and screwed in replacement part and voilà!
Thank you!! It worked! I
Thank you! I am about to attempt to replace the Thermal Fuse on my NE58F9710WS SAMSUNG oven. I too will never buy another Samsung appliance ever! My microwave broke within a few months of purchase. My beautiful refrigerator has multiple problems, the french door middle piece will not close. cover to produce draw cracked. the frame of the bottom shelf cracked. the ice dispenser on the door stopped working and now my second ice maker inside the refrigerator is not working. We also have a towel on the floor for some kind of leak. I am buying a new fridge. Now after self-cleaning my Samsung oven, the oven door would not open, the display no longer works so I can't use the oven, the stove part works. I'm hoping the thermal fuse replacement work. Thanks for your help and for everyone else. DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG APPLIANCES..you've. been warned.
You've done a great job on this video! We have the same Samsung range and it is about 7 years old now. We have done several self cleans with no issue. Yesterday (Oct 2/2021) the self clean finished, but now the oven and the broiler don't work. The stove top elements work. And the oven door was not still locked. Are there multiple thermal fuses on this range? I was wondering what the replacement part number was. Was it DE47-20037A? I've had it with Samsung too, our fridge keeps icing up to the point the fan can't turn.
As far as I know there is only one thermal switch. I looked up the part number on an appliance parts place and was going to order from them but it was $14 shipping for a $10 part, so I just input the number on Amazon. Samsung DE47-20037A Thermostat www.amazon.com/dp/B005DNSZPQ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share If you have an ohm meter, you can easily test the switch before you order one. Disconnect the power first. You should read 0 ohms (continuity) across the contact. Hope that helps.
@@firemedic7435 Thank you for responding and quickly. I have been able to test the thermal fuse just under the cooktop and it is good. Tested the temp sensor and it was also good also. Looks like I need a new main PCB assembly in the back (FML)!
@@robluke4197 sorry to hear that. Good luck. My washer/dryer are LG. 12 years old and run more than a laundromat. I think they will be my next kitchen appliances.
It's easier if you take off the trunk!! heh heh heh... I usually ride with a backrest and luggage rack (And Flag) on mine. The trunk goes on for trips where I will need the extra storage. :-) This guy IS good!
I traded my 2008 in for a 2013 last weekend. If you ride one you will more than likely buy it. LOL
Nice ride brother. I was there last month. I'm lookin to get a Victory for my next bike.
Man, thank you so much for that bit of information. It made a world of difference. I am turning with much more control and confidence.
Yes, keep the clutch in the "friction zone" and feather the rear brake. The bike will go where you look. The further you turn your head the tighter the turn will be. Constant power to the rear wheel will keep you upright. This is on the "Ride Like A Pro " DVD that Jerry the Motorman puts out. He's an ex-motor cop that teaches you how they police motor cps are taught.
Do you maintain constant throttle and adjust the clutch and are you pushing down the handle in the direction of the turn, turning the steering column and leaning into the turn?
Yes, four of them actually. That's a 3500 tanker and a brush truck. The engine and squad are backed up to them from the other side.
What is in the garage?? Is it fire truck?? :O
wow im impressed
Eric, that DVD was the best investment. That bike was totaled on 1/8/11. I replaced it with the same bike with the Ness 21'' wheel in front. Took a little getting used to, but the same is possible. One day I want to take his course. The Motorman is only an hour away from me. Practice and be safe!
Ride like a pro dude!! ride like a pro!! its not as easy as it looks, I practice all the time myself. 09 midnight cherry vivion, stage one level two but only 2500 miles on the bike.
