    If you find the crack extends after your repair you may want to 'stop drill' the hole before you try adding more JB Weld. Just dirll a 1/8" hole at the furthest point of the crack. This relieves stress so the crack stops extending. I too have a gray tank leak and I hope my fix is as simple. Thanks for the video.

    I am going to have to order one of these. We take longer vacations in our Class A and with 3 kids, there is a lot of laundry. We plan stops with laundry facilities and how many days we can go before we have to do laundry again. I was thinking of installing a w/d in our rig, which isn't already prepped, but this seems like a cheaper gateway.

    hi i installed mine on my RV and im connecting my 30amp plug directly to the inverter with a 15amp adapter. i understand that should work but im getting the yellow ground fault light when i do it. it kinda tries for couple seconds but then i get the light. the inverter does work normally if i connect other things like chargers directly to it. any idea why this could be happening? i been looking for solutions online but cant really find any. THANKS 🙏

    • @JouppiOutdoors
      @JouppiOutdoors 23 дні тому

      Hi there, when installing the inverter, did you ground it to the trailer? If so, I would suspect the inverter doesn’t like something in the adapter or there is something on inside the RV that is causing the fault. You could turn off all the breakers and plug in the adapter, if you do not get a fault then start turning breakers on until you do to help narrow down the culprit.

    • @alva2707

      HI, i realized my negative side of the inverter was connected to the wrong side of my shunt, now its on the right side and doing what you told me with the breaker panel i found out that it is the gfi breaker that is making the inverter trip, with the gfi breaker off the inverter works just fine! now my question is, is it safe to have the gfi breaker off?

    So I am looking at the spec that say it's 15"D x 24.8"W x 28.5"H. Do you think it would fit on a hitch cargo carrier that is 60"L x 24"W x 14"H inches? I don't have a way to measure the product, but it looks like it's tapered at the bottom. This is a super weird question, but any chance you have exact measurements towards that bottom?

    • @JouppiOutdoors

      I have noticed that the smell of cooking dinner for example, doesn’t hang around if that makes sense? Thank you for your video. It is good. I really appreciate your tip on the pbs blaster. I have two comments. Last year a 175 miles from ANY diesel service center in New Mexico the dreaded DEF message of 150 miles then five miles per hour came on. So you can disconnect both batteries then short circuit the positive lead of one of the batteries to a ground for 10-15 seconds. It will magically reset the computer. Reconnect the batteries an go on your way. When I got to Albuquerque the Dodge dealer check the truck but the codes were erased. I drove around town for 2 days and no DEF warning. Drove 1100 miles home and no warning in last 5000 miles. ???? Anyway in a pinch ground out your system and it will reset and you can get to a dealer. I have seen one injector resurrected from dead by soaking in the crusty white head area ( not the wiring) in warm water and dissolving the white stuff and then it worked.

    • @JouppiOutdoors
      @JouppiOutdoors Місяць тому

      Thanks for that tip! I have done that on Chevy diesel trucks to reset the anti theft system as well. Intermittent failure is usually how the injector starts to fail. Mine went off and one for a long time before ultimately failing.
