I don't play at any competitive level at all, but I prefer Lucina over Marth because of the consistent hitboxes making her less reliant on perfect spacing. To be fair though, out of all the FE characters I like Corrin and Byleth more than either Marth or Lucina.

Having played Lucina at the beginning of smash almost exclusively I never realized how far she'd fallen. Honestly I thought that Marth was more popular BECAUSE of his tippers but seeing them both at the bottom is disheartening =w= I enjoyed the vid! Sorry, had to dislike this video. Reading whole essays makes it impossible to pay attention what was actually happening on screen. Either read it out loud, or provide text first and then show, or make sure to make the sentences shorter. Whole video is just a mess now...

Ive gotten really good at actually landing skewer lately on people. I like to bait them into using an up-special, (depends on the character, works best with an jumping attack where they fall slowly if they miss, such as little mac, simon, zero suit samus, meta knight, link, etc.). While they use their up special, I air dodge or use the down A, to get back on the ground, and line up the skewer as best as possible while the oponnent is vulnerable. With this concept, I usually land 2-3 skewers in a 3 stock fight. I like to go for it when Im at a high percent with a higher number of stocks left. In a multiplayer fight, I like to wait until someone has grabbed another player, come from behind and skewer them, or just catch someone off guard from behind in the heat of a fight If you want to get good at using skewer, the best way is to just practice over and over until you get the hang of it
