While being left handed is a big pain in the ass, it’s a great “security system” for my guitars because nobody wants them! 😂

Thank you! Yes, I love this thing....I've had a few LP's in my time, and I actually sold them all. They didn't click with me. THIS one does....I would never sell this. It feels like a true genuine heavy Les Paul, like a piece of furniture, and the tone reflects that. I love this guitar.

Thank you so much! I agree completely. I've owned a few in the past, but this is by far the best one I've ever owned or played. It feels more "genuine" than some of the past LP's I've had, if that makes any sense. The tone is also better than any other LP I've owned. I use this on recordings a lot because of that. Thank you!

@@Rocco11510 cool! I just traded a 1954 gold top for $22k and a 2020 50's standard and a 2020 60's standard.... I'm not sure if I made a good deal or not. I think I did? 🤔 do you have an opinion on that?

@@nightmareaccomplice5816 dammmnn!!!! So wait, you got $22k for your gold top LP, which is excellent…..and you got a 2020 1950’s and 1960’s LP on top of the $22k for the gold top? I think you did very well! Also, I believe 2020 is the first year under the new Gibson ownership, and there is definitely a quality increase under the new ownership, so that’s a win!

@@Rocco11510 thank you so much!!! Pew!! I didn't realize that the 1958's were the most desirable because of the earlier one not being too playable. The 1955 or 56 models had the ABR style thing so for more intonation adjustments. Wow but my 1954 was EMACULANT!!!! It was kept under a bed for 30 years at first because the dude didn't play it and then it went to my father in-law and he didn't play it so it stayed another 30 years under his bed. (Two old men). The clear-coat had only VERY minor checking!! The dude I sold it to was well off and rich and has a huge collection of les pauls. That's his passion. He was so knowledgeable about les pauls that he said Gibson calls him sometimes for advice. The two les pauls he traded me had never been played, he took them out of his collection to bring with him from west Virginia to sweeten the deal. He showed me a photo of his les pauls. He has 100's!! Even old ones. I do think the one I sold to him probably was the very finest example in existence

Oh no don’t worry, Gibson puts that toggle switch piece in the case in a bag, then you just screw it on 😉

I mentioned the actual switch could have sworn well thankfully it didn't

@@tom_buggy Ahh, ok. Well, luckily, the guitar came in mint condition, and it sounds excellent. I used it on multiple tracks so far for release because it has that thick Les Paul signature tone that you just can't get with any other guitar. No weight relief, just pure solid tone.

Thank you! I completely agree. I have I believe 17 guitars, and just like you, the ET Custom is the only one I play haha! It’s sad, but all of my other guitars (and there’s some great ones in my collection) are just kinda sitting there…..The ET Custom just feels perfect, and the tone is insane. That’s why it’s my number 1.
