Is this stock suspension?(i have s roush kit so im not too sure if it would even matter)😭
So all I have done is lowering springs and camber bolts. I like the camber bolts but I plan on moving to a full coil over set up later on
@@batistamedia2139 have you ever dealt with the stock caster at all or have any idea where you could adjust that? I see bolts for it and im trying to get into light drifting on a track and just needed a bit, thanks for the info however!
So as I’m replying I ran out to see something on my Mustang. I have caster camber plates that were installed I guess by the person I bought it from. So id rather do my camber adjustment with that and set the caster more positive so that way I can feel a difference the next time I hit the track
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 you always set alignment with the suspension loaded, doing your way is quite wrong,i love these UA-cam experts
Might want to research a lil bit more before you comment. You CAN set camber while the suspension is not loaded. You need to do more calculations like taking full droop into account. It’s just another method of doing it. But no by all means tell all the rest of the people who actually track our cars we are wrong. 😑
@@batistamedia2139 on the ground loaded is the correct way, the other way/ guessing is not correct way . I am a ' real ' technician, not a UA-cam expert.
@randellgribben9772 Never said I was an expert. But 🫡 good for you.
Literally foreshadowing Saturday lmfao
Assetto corsa? Gotta be on pc right?
Assetto Corsa Competizione. You don’t have to be they have console versions too. Just not crossplay.
@@batistamedia2139 I've got competizione on Xbox but assetto is a bit empty on console
@Twofrogsonecup I do remember seeing that the players online was a little low on Xbox. Not sure why as it works pretty good on console.
@@batistamedia2139 yea I really enjoy assetto corsa on console, but assetto on PC is a lot more attractive since you can install mods and basically drive anything anywhere you want to, like the no hesi maps really blew up and that kind of gameplay isn't possible on console, I'm getting a PC soon specifically for assetto and to emulate older games, so maybe I can experience pure automotive freedom like others
@Twofrogsonecup Assetto Corsa is great for that. I jump back and forth depending on if I want to race a GT3 car or my own Mustang. I do need to get a shifter for my moza setup. It’s a rabbit hole haha
same setup i have lol
And it works! Man I’m sick of these “oh you gotta have the best sim rig” people. Nah I’d rather use that money and actually hit the track lol.
I like your setup
Well crap thats not my issue rhen. Mine did it before and after new o2s
Have you fixed your problem?
Was that on a stock one?
Nope I had camber bolts on it. Although I’ll be going to coil overs soon and adjusting camber that way. Not sure if I trust the bolts but it was cheap haha
L4-l5 microdiscectomy and discectomy l5 s1 microdiscectomy second time i did this surgery 2 month after can i ride bike and what types of core strength workouts you do and suggest some workouts because i suffered lot
Man im 12 weeks post op L5-S1 microdiscectomy and was told today to never run again? I see you killing these workouts bro. I hope to prove them wrong just as youre doing. How large was your herniation??
To put it this way...I was couch bound for about two months. Any movement was excruciating. I had to walk with a cane and even that I could only do for about 5 minutes at a time. All that to say I don't remember how big it was haha but it was causing some serious constant pain.
hi sir, what wind shield is it?
I like it but usually only run it during the colder months to get the cold air to kinda go around me haha. The link below should bring ya to it. www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/givi-a2132-windscreen-yamaha-fz-09-mt-09-2017-2018?sku_id=1330801
thanks a lot, im actually thinking of lower the front like you mentioned at 6:31 but I wont lower my bike at the back, not sure what gonna change, would like to have your thought, thanks!@@batistamedia2139
@hkbornin1995 If you lower just the front from what I’ve read is that it will make the bike turn more easily. I wouldn’t make too drastic of a change in the front end unless you are lowering the rear as well.
💃 "PromoSM"
Did your surgeon say if the increased internal pressure from straining might increase the chance of blowing it out again? My surgeon really gave me zero instruction as to recovery. When did you begin to flex the back, stretch, lift something 30 or 40 lbs off the ground? They say don't do anything for 6 weeks but i would imagine its extremely gradual after that? Right now it feels like i'll never do anything again. You gave yoirself a full year before weights or did you start really light a couple months after surgery? Its honestly really scary because you want to get strong again and you're scared to death of doing damage. It's good to see you are strong again.
So he did say that I should take it easy especially early during recovery. After the recovery period I still was very careful and did not lift heavy weights. The most I did was a lot of walking since my right leg was significantly weakened due to the injury. Then I want to say a year and half after my surgery and many visits to the chiropractor my x-rays were showing that there was actually more space between my L5S1. So with that I started to lift weights. The stronger your core and back muscles are the more support your spine has.
@@batistamedia2139 Thank you for the response!
If you have not you need to go to HPE track event
I think that’s next. That’s when you have an instructor in the car with you right?
Colder than a witches titty in a brass bra doing pushups in the snow 😂
Cool
Nice car but it’s still regular traffic
Regular traffic? So what do you drive then?
@@batistamedia2139 Regular traffic, a 2016 camaro ss
Whatever you say man. A Nissan Altima is regular traffic.. V8 muscle cars are not. Somebody lied to you 🤣
@@batistamedia2139 I think it just depends on where you live because where you live muscle cars, bmw sports cars and nice mercades suv's are super common. and are like regular traffic. the porches , aston martins and the few ferraris are what turn the heads.
Don’t get me wrong exotics are nice but I could care less if my car turns heads or not. If you got what you got and ripping on track and backroads make you smile that’s all that matters. Trust me people care more about if you can drive the car then what type of car it is. I guess it depends on what community you’re trying to fit into. The car community or the “hype” community.
Which windscreen are you using? I like it
It’s the Givi A2132. I got it from Revzilla.
Premium too, dang
I think the most I paid for a full tank is like 13-15 bucks

It almost got me bro 😂
handsome a*s trees 😂😂
Your so funny 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Nooooo that throws off the bike geometry 🤦🏼♂️ only reason to ever do this is as a new rider that can’t flat foot
Haven’t felt a difference other than the bike is lower. I’ve heard this multiple times yet the bike still carves like it did before lowering it.
Hai I had my L5S1 micro discectomy on june 2022. I am still having weakness on my left leg that means when I walk I am limping, is this common? Have you ever experienced this before or after your surgery
When I initially had the surgery yes but you’ve be post surgery for a while now so you shouldn’t have weakness in that leg anymore by now. I’d consult a doctor to see what’s going on.
Great content! Can't wait to see what you do next! So cool!
Im going to subscribe and like because this is awesome content! Wow
Thank you so much for the support! I'll do my best to keep them coming!
hey man i’m going through the same thing as you. i’m young. got it when i was 19 and now im 20 still dealing with the pain. it isn’t as bad as it used to but it’s still there you know? how’s your pain now? do you have any sort of pain at all after the surgery?
What kind of surgery did you get ?
Microdiscectomy on my L5S1
F*&cking government !! Making you wait months to pay for an MRI. Sue them. Here is what I did: I have been mostly bedridden for about 6 weeks so far. Three weeks after I hurt myself, I started with a chiropractor which didnt help but they helped me get a referral for the MRI. You can also get a referral for the MRI thru your primary. Don't get X-rays at this point, they are a waste of money if your insuracne doesnt cover it and you dont need them at this point ( you will need them if you need surgery or an epidural injection, later on). My chiro gave me a prescription for a lumbar (TH12/L1 to L5/S1) MRI. I paid just $250 for a no-contrast MRI of my lumbar spine at 3T Sytems in Coconut Creek, FL. I did not use my insurance even though I have Marketplace insurance but it had a high deductible $7500 (paid zero dollars for diagnostice until I surpassed my deductibel, which I was nowhere near). If you call up your local MRI diagnostic center (google maps), ask them for a cash (no insurance) price. It is normally MUCH MUCH less than using your useless insurance plan especially in my case where I had a very high deductible. When you leave the MRI, ask for a cd-rom with your images (see if they will gtive you 2 or 3 discs) . two or three days later you should recieve the radilogist lab report which will tell you if you have a herniated disc. It probably wont say "Herniated" disc. It might say protrustion or bulging disc. This is all the same: PAIN !! First step should be a transforaminal epidural steroid injection (usually decadron). Cash price for these is around $300-500. I basically had to pay cash price for this as well. But let's add it up: $250 for teh MRI, $300 for the injection --- total of $650 to get be out of bed. Get an opinion from a spine surgeon. Many spine surgeons will review yoru MRI for free (over teh phone or over Zoom) and give you an opinon. YOu will have to either send the disc to them or upload the images ( buy a external cd-rom player on amazon for $18 if your laptop doesnt have a cd-rom player). Dont' give up and dont let your insuracne company push you around. Get advice on how to get your procedure covered from spine surgeon. Talk to teh authorization person at their office. They know how to get things done. Good luck and persevere. If you need surgery, DO NOT DO A FUSION. Try for minimally invasive endoscopic surgery (outpatient procedure, no cutting of muscles or ligaments). Try Deuk spine institute in melbourne fl (search "Deuk Spine Institute" on youtube). and Google "minimally invasive endoscopic spine surgery"
That’s a nice bike broski!
Thanks bro!
5’6 and i tip toe like hell on my mt09. where did u get ur lowering kit? thx!
www.t-rex-racing.com/Yamaha-FZ09-MT09-Lowering-Link-kickstand-p/ks73-14combo.htm
The site should take you to both the lowering kit and the adjustable kickstand. I’d grab both of you can.
Please share how much the rear was lowered by the new links, and also how much did you drop the forks through the triple clamps? 5'4" with short inseam here, trying to figure out if I can set this bike up to work for me.
www.t-rex-racing.com/Yamaha-FZ09-MT09-Lowering-Link-kickstand-p/ks73-14combo.htm
I’m going to make a video on the adjustments I’ve made but the link above is to the lowering kit plug the kickstand. I believe the drop is 1.5” in the back. On the triple tree I just lowered as far as it can go.
Hi, what kind of cardio do you do. And how hard do you lift weight.
I mostly do stationary bike like a pelaton or pro form for cardio. Weights I’m limited to my 50 pound dumbbells for now. Hoping to get a power rack here soon. I’ll lift for an hour or so and cardio I’ll do about 30 minutes.
I’m 5’6 can I touch the ground stock? Or if so can I touch the ground better if lowered ?
You’ll be tip toeing most likely as I’m 5’7” and was tip toeing before I lowered my bike.
Your inseam height it what matters
This! Yes it does, I mentioned this in my newer video on lowering the FZ. This video I didn’t really do a good job on hitting all the points on lowering your bike 😅
i had microdisectomy last Feb, and now, it seems that my back problem is re-occuring. My left butt is starting to hurt the way it hurt before I had surgery. I am afraid i need to do another microdisectomy. Should I worry?
Is it happening often? If so then I’d probably give your doctor this information. I know I felt some ghost pains after mine but they went away. Just to be safe consult your doctor.
I can’t see ANY of the adjustment process! F U!!!!
Old video but how tall where u? Just trying to see if this will actually help for a 5’7”
I’m 5’7” lol
Hi bro. When did u start working out after your microdiscectomy? and how are you feeling right now doing all these exercises with dumbbells?
So until I seriously started working out I waited for a full year. I feel fine doing the workouts just if I do feel anything funny I’ll skip and try picking it up the next day.
I love the digital angle finder as well, a very helpful tool.
Did you lower the front also? Or just added lowering links to the rear?
I did end up bringing the triple tree down as well
@@batistamedia2139 How much did you bring the forks down?
So how did you adjust the front forks to match the rear drop?
I like to know the recovery time. Level of pain. And time before being back to work or working out
I think it was about 8 to 9 weeks. If you were in pain before the surgery what you will feel is nowhere near that pain. It’s more of a soreness. As for seriously working out I didn’t for a couple months.
Hey man, I am seeing a specialist soon and I may be having surgery. I am fireman and I’m just wondering, do you think I would be able to do my job again after surgery? What was your experience like post operation? Im nervous and seeking answers. Thanks bro.
I mean I served five years in the Marine Corps after mine but I did re-herniate. BUT I will say that was mainly from me not taking care of myself so it could be different for you.
I’m almost 3 weeks out of a discetomy. I got to a state where i couldnt walk, i starved and dehydrated myself just to not get out of bed. After the surgery the pain relief was the best feeling in the world. Compared to what i felt the pain from the operated area was nothing. Let me just tell you, i felt that ER sentence, never have i felt more disrespected and humilliated than after going to the ER. I couldn’t walk, spent all the time in a fetal position to bear the pain, almost laid on the ground because they didn’t felt the need to give me a stretcher, and the worst thing is that, anti-inflammatory steroids didn’t reduce my pain and they just didn’t give a f.. and sent me home anyway.
I'm glad your surgery went well though! Seems like we both had similar situations because I couldn't do anything without being in severe pain. I don't understand why the ER is like that. It's nuts! You would think they would at least refer you to someone.
Sad part is the ERs thinks we’re just trying to get drugs like dope head.
@@benjaminhurmx I’m an ER nurse, and I’m currently 6wk post op with this surgery. I can tell you I’ve had back pain for the last 10 years. I have people come in all the time with back pain. If it’s been over 6months of back pain, I will tell them they need to see their primary to get a referral to a surgeon or specialist. The ER unfortunately isn’t going to fix a herniated disc. The medications ( narcotics) aren’t even going to touch the pain in the back or legs. I know both professionally and personally. I will say this though. If anyone has back issues and lose control of bladder function or limb movements, that’s a different story and that is emergent and most likely will result in an emergent surgery the next day ( this was my case) and I’ve seen it like that prior to myself. Thank you for the video my friend, I’ve been trying to be positive throughout this whole journey.
@@landonlalor4239 I had the surgery and very happy with the results so fare. I lost a lot of strenght but the pain is so much more tolerable. Still a long road ahead but I feel great.
I would really appreciate to see what workouts you do to strengthen the back I don’t wanna do the wrong workouts like deadlifts. What workouts do you do is my question.
I’m working on a video that shows most of my workouts. I’m limited on equipment in my garage but I’m hoping to change that soon. I would stay away from deadlifts like you said. Back extensions, Romanian deadlifts(with dumbbell low weight) a little easier on the back, and abs. I mainly do the Romanian and ABs right now.
Poor boi :/
Hi Batista! I am two weeks post discectomy and still have dull calf pain. Did you have calf pain after surgery too?
Hello! Is it a soreness or sciatic pain? I only had soreness due to the fact I wasn’t using my leg when I was injured so when the sciatic pain went away and I started using that leg again my muscles in the leg got sore.
Yes soreness.
Since it’s soreness I’d say that’s normal. Before the surgery did you leg hurt to the point you didn’t really use it?
Im just super anxious about reherniation. 😔
Yeah I was too when I got my second surgery. The only reason I think that that happened for me is I was in the military. So that took a toll on my back. If you are attentive to how you pick things up and strengthen your back and core muscles then you should have less chance of reherniation. Just make sure you allow yourself to recover first.
I’m scheduled for surgery soon bro! Very nervous been a year with this pain . Any chance I will be able to run and play basketball again?!
Oh most definitely man. You will be able to do what you want after you recover. Just gotta be very attentive to how you do things is all. I did a whole enlistment in the Marines but due to that I think it made my chance for re-herniation higher. But running and basketball you should be fine. Good luck on your surgery!
What should I do after surgery? I don’t wanna take heavy pills
So number one is don’t try to do too much when you’re recovering. As far as the pills man I didn’t take any of them. I just dealt with the mild discomfort. I don’t like taking pills either. I think they gave me a oxy or something and I just didn’t take any of it
@@batistamedia2139 omg thanks bro! I asked for a ninth off work idk if that’s ok
That’s fine just understand when you go back you to work you still need to take it easy for a bit
Fly Eagles fly! Have a L3 diskectomy on Feb 21. We will see how it goes.
Heck yeah I’m excited about tomorrows game. Hope all goes well! Definitely update us!
Hey I’m one of the commenters you posted in this video. I see a lot videos online about is pain and it’s symptoms in healing but not so much about numbness and the healing signs with numbness. I am 4.5 months from surgery and still have numbness in my left foot but the last 2 months I been experiencing pain and different sensations in my foot and in my leg- Something I didn’t experience before surgery. After speaking with you and my surgeon, both agreed it’s healing and will take some time with numbness.
How's your foot feeling now?
And you got a job with less heavy lifting!
How's that Tacoma coming?
