Disney's Ghibli dubs bring an unbelievable life to the characters, matching the energy of the JP a lot of the time. I always feel let down in most TV Anime dubs because I grew up on this level of quality from top stars and professionals doing the dubs! P.S: Patrick Stewart kills it every time

These are all great, highly skilled actors and it's cool to watch this, but I am not sure I would watch a dubbed version of Nausicaa if subtitled was an option. My favourite film of all time.

Funny. I like every voice actor except Nausicaa's. Prabably because I watched the subbed verison first. The dub voice is much more harsh and lacking in flow compared to the Japanese original. Everyone was natural, but Lohman, she tries to hard and overcompensates.

Just want to point out Hamill was wrong. Miyazaki’s first feature film was Lupin the 3rd Castle of Calesteo. But this was the first where you can kinda catch on his style. Am reading the manga, pretty good read.

A little disappointment is 腐海 Fukai was translated to Toxic jungle. Actually Fukai is more like “rotten forest”.

I cry a lot when I see any clip because this was my favorite movie when I was little, I don’t remember why, but I can’t watch it anymore since I used to watch it at my dads.
