The gentleman was talking about the Napoleonic wars. GB would stop ships and decimate the crew to fill their own ranks. Americans were English no doubt so they would empty ships leaving only enough crew to get your ship home. They were regularly emptying crew of English and American ships to keep their ships full and fighting ready.

Read all of the Horatio Hornblower books for an understanding what a man went through who was pressed into being a Sailor aboard a GB ship. It was worse than slavery. It was for the most part a death sentence. But stopping American ships and boarding them with impunity can cause some anger at home.

Great interview however you should be ashamed of yourself for incorporating adverts to make money from this horrifying disaster. You’ll find that 99% of people covering the 9/11 disaster on yt do not have advertising within their videos, and that is out of respect. So for future reference can I advise that you do not make money off content about terrorism or where people lost their lives, if you have humanity you know what I am saying is not a ‘dig’ it is just pure sense.

Why are these men watering down the state of affairs between the Iroquois Delaware and Shawnee. The latter had been conquered through warfare with the Confederacy. They were told to leave but held no claim to lands.

I see your point in that an ultimate objective was not secured and that the war continued. Although I'm sure even Robert e. Lee would disagree with you because he wanted to destroy the Union army but failed. He wanted to do more material damage to the Union and failed and many of his best generals and colonels were killed or disabled. One excellent general is worth tens of thousands of ordinary soldiers. Believe me, I wish that like you , that Lee's army could have been trapped and destroyed or captured against the swollen Banks of the Potomac River. Maybe if 20,000 more men became casualties, that would have ended the war then and saved hundreds of thousands of more lives. But Mead's army was in little condition or spirits for a bloody pursuit against entrenched enemy rear guards

And, while Trump was in office, we were not dealing with any wars. The mess around the world tells you everything that happened under Biden. Simple fact right there.

Gettysburg and Chickamauga are the clear consensus of the highest and second highest casualties. After that, it seems to greatly depend on how the battles are counted. One site I saw counted "Seven Days" as a battle, clumping together 5 separate battles.
