How is your experience being an MI officer? I’m going through college right now as a prior service and doing ROTC when I transfer to the 4 year school near my community college. Should I choose signal officer or cyber officer instead? Does my major have to be specific in order to qualify for a MI, signal, or cyber officer position?

Is thier a way to bypass the asvab test in the army ?

I am wondering if I can have your opinion on my current situation. I enlisted in the Army National Guard in June 2023 as a 88N. I leave for basic training on October 30th. Before enlisting I had a bachelors degree in Political science and a minor in International Relations with a 3.97 gpa. However I didn’t know until after I signed my enlisted contract that I could become an officer with a Bachelors degree. Should I do Army BCT and AIT first and then pursue my masters in Cybersecurity while doing Army ROTC under the simultaneous membership program or should I try to get out of my enlisted contract and apply for Army OCS instead?.

hi I just graduated my senior year of high school and have struggled with addiction of multiple substances including gambling for 4+ years. I want to be successful and independent from my parents because they are fed up with my shit. Will the army/military help me set my life on track? I am accepted to a good college but I am starting to second guess whether that is the best choice for me. I fear if I go to college I will keep doing the same stupid shit i’ve been doing in high school and middle school. Your opinion, or any opinions will be greatly appreciated. I go to the gym about 4-5x a week and am very fit (idk about cardio lol) so i’m not worried about the physical aspect. I have a very strong will and have done almost everything I set my mind to (sadly including bad things too). With determination and the incentive of good pay, I feel the military could really help me out and set me up for a second career.

I noticed you all said you were going to the sugar jam restaurant but ended up at hash kitchen. Are the restaurants by each other? I was just wondering what made you all go to Hash Kitchen instead? I will be in AZ next month so I’m just trying to plan my itinerary. Thanks!

Is being an officer a ton of office politics? I work in a fast-paced corporate environment and would like to go to something that has less office politics and possibly less deadlines. I work at a mortgage company now, so it's lots of "go-go-go" and dealing with nasty title companies and rude customers who really probably can't afford the house they are buying anyways. Sometimes, I feel like it's too much pressure having to say things a certain way and get things done at a certain time that is often undefined. The only real deadline is the deadline before someone complains lol

Just got a puppy two days ago. Yesterday morning she started vomiting and had diarrhea(no blood). we took her to the vet within 6 hours of the onset of symptoms. They gave her iv meds and 3 shots and sent her home with 3 meds. Her appetite returned last night and shes drinking water on her own. So far no more vomiting or diarrhea..im praying she had a mild case and is turning the corner. Glad your dog is ok.

Hey I will go to the rotc and if I graduate I will become an officer so I want to see if I do need to take the ASVAB before or after I graduate I have my diploma of college or wtv or what are the step to do all right cause I been not doing good at the ASVAB and pp tell me that if I go to rotc and I graduate and become an officer I won’t not take the ASVAB so please let me know is that correct

I am currently 24 years old, recently obtain my bachelors back in dec of 2021. I am conflicted on if i should go to graduate school and do rotc that way i already have my masters and get my phd funded vs going the ocs route or doing the reserves/rotc route . Any insight ?
