Yours came damaged? Yikes that's terrible considering the price. I saw your video the other day before my set was delivered and I was a bit concerned about possible damage as well. I technically didn't even need this set, as I own an original pressing, plus two copies of the remastered vinyl. But, when mine came it was pristine inside and out. We also get the extra music too, which is a great bonus.

Balance is my favorite Van Halen album too. I just seen Sammy Hagar in Cincinnati Ohio today, and they were amazing.

Excellent albums. I have the Back in Black. I’ve been thinking of getting the others in the series. I love the colored vinyl. I also have noticed some minor seam splits, which I did not know how that happened until I watched this video here. Good info and share. 🤘🏼🍻

TNT was available at the pop-up stores in Europe only, during the recent tour. Only a small batch was made, some probably on eBay now.

Sorry to see you got damaged album packaging. 😢 Luckily mine arrived from from the US to the UK undamaged. But I personally think you should have returned the album as I believe AS are very good when it comes to returns and they would have sent another and hopefully undamaged replacement.

With Phil's drumming and singing abilities, he edges Peter a bit as my favorite rock performer. But I believe The Lamb is Mr. Gabriel's best vocal work. With Genesis this is splitting hairs, they are all so good.

Nice video. Do you think tonality and clarity issues is given by the fact that there is too much music for the vinyl? 25 and 28 min seems much for a vinyl

Hey Melanie. Great album, so good. Love you’re still doing this channel too, I’m a fan. Along with all the 23’ metal I missed that you, Marty, Alan, Simon, etc recommended, I just got an Asia box set in today.

This is easily a top ten album all time for me. The story is a little bit tough to understand and it’s something you have to dig deep into. Very nice presentation aside from the stains/defects.

How do they sound. I have not found any info on the mastering process or other details other than it's a Euro release.

Got into WASP late, they’ve become a favourite, always thought they were poser glam, but hell their first LP at least is excellent heavy metal, great guitars!

I dig this new Stones album! They sound energetic, soulful, driven, and fuckin' rocking! The only track that I'm not feeling is Dreamy Skies. They cover several genres and styles of music such as hard rock, blues, gospel, punk, soul, country, and blues rock. The musicianship and guitar playing is consistent throughout. I was almost moved to tears when they ended the album with both a gospel and ultimately the Rolling Stones blues. Mick Jagger and Keith Richards put down some soulful Mississippi Delta blues on that joint! This was a heartfelt tribute to the great Muddy Waters who gave them their band name and inspired them to become musicians. This would be a perfect ending to a monumental career. I thought that Lady GaGa was a pop star nobody until I heard this Sweet Sounds Of Heaven. This white chic has some awesome pipes and soul! It's obvious that she has studied singers like the great Aretha Franklin. Mick Jagger and Charlie Watts attended gospel church choirs with Aretha singing with an amazing soul that will never be matched!

Hello Melanie. Great video, I'm also a subscriber to your 1st channel, although i'm not a fan of Death/Black or Doom Metal. Metallica, Iron Maiden, Anthrax, Die So Fluid are some of the bands I generally listen to. I'm a newbie to the genre of Jazz, I mean I've never owned a single Jazz album until a year or so ago when I began my Jazz album CD collection. Mainly Blue Note Jazz albums. Please could you make a future video of how you first got into Jazz ? Watching from the UK.😊

Ordered mine a few days ago merchbar is still taking orders for it direct from madfish other sites are sold out or are charging crazy amounts for it which is typical. I hope it ships soon i missed the preorder time frame. Cannot wait to get it.

The vinyl pressing of Van Halen “For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge” from the latest box set has a mastering/pressing flaw which causes horrible distortion and the right channel dropping out on “Right Now”, “316” and “Top Of The World”. Myself and a lot of people are having this same issue. Some have returned copies and received replacements which do the exact same thing so it has to be a problem with the stamper. If so, I’m afraid the entire run will be problematic and a new lacquer will probably need to be cut again. It’s very noticeable if you were to pull a copy and play it yourself - especially on “316”. If possible, listen critically, with headphones as well.

It's a nice box, nice review! The inner sleeves are not good, too tight to get the records out without touching the grooves. I actually got a few scuffs on mine due to the bad sleeves and man handling of the records. Looking at an angle there were micro hairlines on a couple of them. Not exceptional. Absolutely get MoFi sleeves for these. Hopefully they sound good!

I grew up with them I started out with their cassettes then cds 💿 in the 90s and 2000s seen them in concert in 2000 .I have some of their earlier vinyls .I'm getting excited about the vinyl box set to .
