although it was not a typical year... thanks for somehow dealing with me
Hi what is the closet dimensions? Also what is the dimensions of the space once you loft the bed to the highest position. ? Thanks so much
tbh i don't really remember but you might be able to find it online!
Hi, did you have to loft your own bed or do you ask maintenance to do it for you how does that work? Thanks!
hey! i lofted my bed by myself with help from family and friends!
@@risaazim hi! i'm moving in soon and i want to loft my bed, but do I need to ask for anything specific or buy a special item?? or do you just hook it to the highest pegs on the headboard?
Some people got this message in the portal "We need more time to review your appeal. You will have an update by April 12." Did anyone get this message in previous years?
im not quite sure but i remember most people heard back on april 1st so that might be new
How long does UT take to respond to appeals?
My year the results came out on April 1st
Ok well the response date deadline for appeals this year is April 1st but I was wondering if some people hear back sooner or if everyone gets their result on April 1st.
@@sidsingh9165 im not sure about that sorry
Hey! I wanted to ask how would I submit my transcript for the appeal process. When I click it, it asks for me to upload a file. Do I get a paper copy transcript and scan it then submit it as a PDF, or would I submit it electronically how I did with my original application?
I believe I submitted an electronic copy, but I think either should work!
Thank you for your video. The video is really helpful.
ofc i'm glad it helped!!
i’m about to move into jester west and this is the exact setup i want
aww u def should! i rly enjoyed it!

Hey in my case I made top 6% in our last rankings after being capped to UT. I included all the information and my updated transcript on my appeal. Do you know if I can get automatic admission still?
i think it definitely could help mentioning it, but i am not sure if they will guarantee you admission since it is passed the deadline.
Hi! I got capped from McCombs. If I were to appeal, would it be safer to appeal for Econ or undeclared liberal arts. And for submission of the transcript, does it have to be official?
hi! personally, I appealed for undeclared liberal arts to be safe but it is up to you! transcript wise i'm not too sure but official ones are always better!
Yeah liberal arts college is much much easier to get in however internal transfers at UT hard are hard and essential impossible for some majors. Transferring to McCombs, a student would need about 3.9 college gpa and stellar college extracurriculars. And even then only half of those people get in.
John3:16For God so love the world he sent his only begotten son for whoever believes in him shall not perish but live an everlasting life
hey when you appealed when did you get your decision
april 1st!
POV u went to my school
Hi! I was wondering, since biology is a large program (the one I applied for) and quite competitive too, and I've been thinking about appealing my major to Public Health instead since I've heard wonderful things about from a family friend and it's in the direction I would like to go in my career. I got CAP'd, and I'm not sure if it's the right move, since I'm unsure if it's less competitive as I've seen, and might it be a disadvantage for me? And do you think Public Health is a competitive major right now? Thank you! (very helpful video by the way, :))
hi!! so my roommate is currently in public health and ur right it is a great major! i'd say that if you want you could try doing college of natural science undeclared since most of the class you take freshman year are core classes or intro classes. this might help later declaring the major you want and give you more chances! i appealed for college of liberal arts undeclared and when i got here during the first semester i declared economics!
@@risaazim Thank you so much, that's really helpful, and if you don't mind me asking, this might be an odd question: so for my case I was cap'd as a bio major, and my second choice being biochem (I didn't have a third because I did not get into top 6%), in my appeal can I still technically appeal to switch to "undeclared college of natural sciences"?
@@alenav6776 no problem! also yes you are allowed to appeal for any major you wish!
Would you please give me replay kindly I am asking I hope you understood ok byee
How much % of graduation is required to get into UT at AUSTIN ,actually I want to get seat for MS in AI&ML ,then how much cast it would be arround2years masters -----------(fill in the blanks carefully ok)... Ok byeee

YES RISAAAA
omg hi tanya
how long did it take you to find out if you got in after appealing?
april 1st!
I applied government which may be a competitive major since UT is in the capital of Texas so do you think I should switch majors? I would like to stay in liberal arts since it will make it easy to switch to Econ major but I would even be willing to switch schools if necessary.
you could consider applying for humanities or philosophy if that's in your interest
I applied govt too Im thinking about appealing for maybe international relations
Can you link the video your friend made about the CAP program + thank you for the video
here's the link! ua-cam.com/video/b0sK0cFJOGM/v-deo.html
i initially applied for mccombs and got capped, i’m going to appeal for advertising in moody. is moody less competitive or is it still rlly competitive??
I would say moody is definitely a lot less competitive than mccombs, but advertising is also the most popular major within moody so i'd just be aware of it!
Hi, I have a question regarding the cap. I initially applied for Biomedical Engineering, and I am thinking about going into Biochemistry or maybe even biology. Is the CNS still competitive? If it is should I ask to change my major into COLA? Also you mentioned how you sent in an updated transcript, my school does it semester 1, semester 2 blocks so I wouldn't see my updated grades until the end of the year. Could I send in a progress report to them instead? Should I call and ask? Lastly, how did you structure your appeal? You mentioned how you thanked the admissions for giving you a second chance, which I already have in my first sentence, but towards the end what did you put? (Im sorry if this is a personal question and you don't have to answer😅) But did you thank them again in the end? I hope you could get back to my questions and I apologize for flooding you with questions LOL.
Hi! I would say you could apply for CNS undeclared and then declare your major later since that process isn't too difficult. I've heard biology is a pretty huge major and they accept more people. Regarding your transcript, if your school only gives each semester reports then I wouldn't worry about it and just submit your most recent transcript so like semester 1. For structuring your appeal, I would say besides thanking them include how you as a person have changed internally like personal growth within the time you submitted your application and the cap decision. I hope this helps!
hey so do you recommend to appeal for the nursing program I have gotten cap on it and it is the program I really wanna get into
hi! i would say if nursing is something you are looking to do then i would say to go for it, but you could also look into maybe other pre med tracks such as biology, biochem, psychology, etc and possibly internally transfer later!
@@risaazim like right now I’m writing about how I recently quit boxing and how it doesn’t feel the same
@@risaazimhi!! is pre med a better chance of getting in when appealing? I got CAP and i applied for nursing and I really want to appeal, but would premed be a higher chance of getting in?
@@leximarie2925 which major in pre-med are you looking at?
@@risaazimI’m thinking Psychology. I could also probably appeal for COLA in psychology, would that increase chance for admission?
Thank you so much. I sent mine in the morning after I got capped.
Sorry I’m kinda late but did you get in?
