The current setup on my car is rear cat delete, Flowmaster Super 44's, and a X pipe. The whole syatem is all 2¼ inch exhaust.

Thanks for sharing! Do you usually use regular gas or premium with the Marty tune? Do you notice a difference?
@@joemelissabucik7689 i only ever used 87. I never noticed a difference between 87 and 93 because the car was basically stock with just alot of exhaust work done. The transmission tuning and how it behaved after any of the tunes was a gamechanger though. More than worth it in my cars case

you can get better shifting with a J Mod drill the 10 hole to the larger size reconned remove both lower sprigs on the 3/4 accumulator and the stiffer lower spring on the 1/2 accumulator the cost is the fluid a drill bit and your time it will shift as good or better also get the Uhaul pan with plug while you have it off for easier maintenance in the future the rest of thee "performance benefits" aren't worth the added cost IMO

Nope! But you can have it plugged in to data log and use as a gauge for different parameters

Nope! Not at all. However you can use it to datalog different parameters.

Okay, so i believe alls you would have to do is go to the facebook page, called Mo's Speedshop. On there you should be able to find Marty's email and phone number (the tuner) and he should be able to get you all the information on what you have to do. I just bought the whole package which was the tuner and his tunes that are personal to your car. It will be way cheaper since you already have an sct, but idk if it matters or not if it was previously married to another car if you have used it before. Im sure they can reset it easily but im not sure.
Also i just looked it up, you can go to there website now mosspeedshop.com. It wasn't up whenever i got the tune for my car.

All of this video is subjective, would of been nice to see 0-60 stock and with tune.
The reason why i made this video was to share my experience of buying the Marty tune. I wasnt really caring about the performance gains, if there was any at all cool. Alls i cared about was whether or not it affected how my car drove specifically, and it made it more of a fun experience to drive vs stock tune. However, i do wish i had a dragy to test all my different cars and compare.
This is exactly what I want done to mine in terms of exhaust: X-pipe and Flowmaster 44's plus no cats and no resonators.

They were 18x3.5" slash cut tips that i got off of amazon
Do you pass emissions? I just cut my rear cats past the o2 sensor nd I’m worried about emissions
Visual inspection, no. What you can do is cut the secondary cat, open it up, remove the material and then weld it back shut and replace
The original 40 series flowmaster is amazing I have that on my dodge Dakota v8
Does it still have the resonator?
Yep, i wanted it on there to keep it from being too raspy
Mines sounds louder and all I did was a muffler delete an replace with straight pipe

hey man what size tires did you get for those rims?? I have an identical set and am looking for tires.
They were the same size that were on the stock steel wheels lol. When i bought the car, i bought those rims off of the Americanmuscle.com, they were 17x8's and i just had them swap the tires from the steelies to those. 235/55r17 size tires if i remember

Im my case, no. I could get 330 if i was really babying it before the tune, but about 290-300 afterwards with the tune on both of my cars (the silver one in the video, and my white one currently)
If by the run button, you mean secure idle (press a button and leave the car without the keys in but the engine on) most cop cars get that removed after service, or surprisingly a lot never have it in the first place, and just get left with the keys in the ignition. I made by own secure idle and installed it, it was quite easy.

Where you get those wheels
I bought them off of americanmuscle.com. i think they were 600 bucks i think? Mustang wheels that bolted right up. The offset was just a little off for me
Not nearly as loud as it needs to be good engine out, though make heard at least three times as loud
Where did u get the rims and tires?
They were actually the stock ones that came on it, i just painted them the nice black they were. If i kept it i was gonna put it on 33's because the tires were junk when i sold it
I have a 2006 Mercury Grand Marquis w/ 64,000 original miles from original owner... just bought it. He had reciepts for $2,100 within the last three months. He said give me $2,800 and its your's... it is now mine. 😊

I sold the car in January but still drove perfectly fine and way better than stock. The guy I sold it to is still driving it, and now i have another one that i got a few months ago that also is Marty tuned. Drives like a dream

Idk mine sounds deeper and louder and all I did was delete the mufflers n straight pipe all the way back but yours sounds decent too

One of my two favorite engine sounds, up there with RichRebuilds’ LS-swapped Tesla Model S. If/when I get a Crown Vic P71 for myself, this is what I’ll shoot for. Main difference will be new catalytic converters and long-tube headers.
You might still have taller gears. Some P71s had 3.55 gear set. Yours may have the 3.27 or even the 2.73 highway gears. I put a 3.73 set in my LX Sport and the car responds much better but still only 2300 RPM at 70 and 23 MPG or better if I baby it.
This one had 3.27's. I wish it had the 3.55's

@@dipndalip probably about that. Obviously i sold the silver car in January, but the current 2011 white one i have is the same. Before the tune i would get about 330 to the tank with how i drive and about 285 with both of them after the tunes. 3.27 gears on both as stated above

I just had the stock muffler replaced with a super 44 muffler. 2.5 inch inlet and exit i believe

What kind of Exhaust u got installed?
I just bought a 2000 crown vic off my buddy that has the exact same tuner and every time it shifts into third on the 87 tune and shuts down every light on the dash for a few seconds

Had a 97 Grand Marquis with a perf tune from 5 star, stock dual exhaust (was a single exhaust car) with Borlas, 3.73’s and the J mod done to the trans. It was a true sleeper. It was also lowered on LSC 16” wheels.

@@dodgeguyz I promise a tune, and exhaust isn't adding anything over 30 to 40 HP at best. Especially not to a N/A V8 from the 90's
Those are a couple upgrades that will not break the bank and make your car handle a lot better and you won't have to worry about any rear end whine or overheating.....
Sounds good. Now go get some after market neoprene sway bar bushings front and rear to tighten up the suspension . Another thing people overlook is changing your rear end lube. I live in the south where it gets hot, so get the ROYAL PURPLE 75W-140 lube.(if you live where it's hot) it has the friction modifier in it. Takes 2 1/2 qts. Drain it, clean it out real good and put a new cover gasket also. I painted my rear end cover before I reinstalled it (dark grey) and REPLACE your vent hose with 5/16 fuel line. That is very important. Do that and you'll be good to go brother....
I actually sold this car this past January. Buut i missed and regretted it so much that this last Friday i picked up another one 😄. This ones way nicer, and much quicker then the silver one in the video. White 2011 P7b, with 99k miles and a whole bunch of goodies. Will post a video of that when i get around to it.
Why replace vent tube?
Did you have lag on takeoff before the tune? Due to electronic throttle (drive by wire) I hear that’s why my 08 does it. Does getting the tune help with throttle response on takeoff? That is my least favorite part about my car
Absolutely, it seemed like the tune helped out a boat load. Id recommend it to anyone looking about doing it. Its only 500 bucks so why not try it
