I created the .lmp in Excel, it's a simple ASCII file that maps one feature code to another.
@@GeoproXYZ Thanks for the quick response. One more question: how can I find the feature code for a classified LAZ file? The feature codes for PLS files and LAZ files are different numbers!!
@@vasanths8704 theoretically the point cloud be coded to anything, there's no way to determine without looking at it every classification code. It's likely that they used asprs codes as a standard, but if that doesn't seem to work you're going to have to ask the provider of the data.

Hi! Currently having trouble with the coordinate system conversion tool. How did you import your local coordinate system (NAD83 -Ohio South)?

why the line between each station doesn't show up on mine?
You need base and rover data at the same time, you must not have overlapping data.

We too are working for AES, and are being told the LiDAR files we provided them will not import to their standards, even though we used their feature codes. Where does the .lmp file come from? Is this something we can create to assist with our conversion?
We created the .lmp, it took a lot of testing to get the work flow figured out... and a lot of software will screw up the feature codes if not imported correctly. I can give you some advice if you want to talk over it.

I am importing an LAS file with 8 million less points than yours and it's taking me roughly 1 hour to execute. I'm running a threadripper, 3090, and 128GB of ram so wouldn't think my machine is holding me back..? is there something to be enabled in PLS CADD to import LAS data quicker? Great video!
There are no additional settings that I'm aware of. What version las are you trying to import? What software produced it?
@@GeoproXYZ Version 1.4 produced in LP360. I'm a surveyor, just trying to get the data in PLS CADD...after importing the LiDAR data and assigning FEA codes I still can't see my data. Gotta be doing something wrong on my end! Will reach out to support!

The data demonstrated here was collected with the GS-100V, a very reasonably priced sensor with good accuracy. Contact us for more info on pricing and availability.
Hi Trimble Family I have an issue about the static raw data, when I import into TBC I didn't see start time and end time of each points. I can see "invalid leap seconds". Anyone can help me how to show the start time and end time in each point.
This indicates that you need to run a software update on your Trimble software.

What the meaning of the red flag? I had a problem with my processing and it show the red flag. It state that i had an error at my vertical height. So may i know what is the solution?
A red flag on a point indicates an out of tolerance situation. For example, if you measure the same point twice and the difference between the two measurements is large. There are many potential causes, such as a rod height error, or bad GPS observation. You should investigate these points and try to determine the cause of the error.
