Can you use on different camera brands? For example I have the Canon set. If I bought the Panasonic cables would it also work on my Panasonic, do I need to buy the full set or option 3 buy the Panasonic receiver?

Thanks. The S Pro was out of the question due to the price, but there are some discounted or mint ones around. It does have a smooth aperture designed for video, and twin AF engines for speed and video transition. Also slightly better weather-sealing than the Art lens (-10c etc) despite the plastic outer casing. Just control the aperture via the dials if the ring is somehow a problem. The Art lens is wholly re-designed so I don't think it helps to refer to the reflex version, especially when that version is also in L-mount so that the two could be confused. If there is an f/1.2 Art soon then it would be great to see a field comparison between the three.

I love the look of this lens, as I do with all Sigma A DG DN f1.4 primes. I use Nikon Z9+Z8 cameras with megadapt 21 pro adaptors. This is something I’ve been waiting for. Why Sigma? You may ask! Well I love the build, and like my aperture ring on the lens. Nikon S lenses make a control ring available, but it’s poor in comparison for my needs. I have been photographing now for over 65 years. Part of achieving quality images is loving your equipment (tools). Like the channel a lot! TonyH

Canons dual pixel AF ii has better depth detection with better subject detection. The canon R8 is a Z8 killer imo 40fps and better AF

I recently read some reviews on the Nikon Z8 where the reviewers stated that while the Z8's front panel is made of Carbon Fibre, the Z8's rear panel is made from a plastic, I am so extremely disappointed by this revelation. Apparently at Nikon HQ the idea was to design and build the Z8 so as to lure fans of the D850 into buying the new Z8, well considering that the D850 body is entirely made of Magnesium-Alloy, why would D850 users buy a plastic Z8?; the management at Nikon HQ made a ATROCIOUS decision to make the Z8 out of moulded plastic; it would have been infinitely better and wiser to cut back on features instead of compromising the Z8's build quality, yet the staff at Nikon HQ are presumably made up of university graduates. Considering the above points I have absolutely no desire to buy the Z8; in fact I would rather use a Nikon FM2n.

Proponents of this camera claim it won't overheat, yet Lumix states the operating range of this camera is between 40 - 70 degrees farenheit. Since I film outdoors during the summer months, in temperatures well above 70 degrees, this camera is useless for outdoor videography.

Been waiting nearly 10 years for a quality 23mm for Sony APS-C. Glad it's finally here and looks good, just wish it was a bit smaller. A COMPACT quality 23mm F2 would be amazing and would be a huge seller because of the compact size. Also a COMPACT 18mm F2 (28mm Equivalent) for Sony APS-C is well needed.
