Hi Michael, I need your valuable help We are using logitech devices vr0029 model Whn we are signing in its showing sigining out the devices isnt enrolled to device admin Account signed to the devices which are brand new and the devices which are updated its giving an error but logitech guy used his demo account and hgot success so we assume its only with intune issue Checks i did : no conditional access is getting applied(excluded from all) Pro licesne assigned Andr device admin is checked No restriction is given on the versions Ms or logitech both are unable to help Really need your help sir pls

This worked well for a VVX 411, however trying to duplicate on a vvx 310 and it seems DHCP is the devil in the details preventing communication to properly provision. Even with a static IP our DHCP does not allow the phone to pickup the IP with or without a reservation.

I cannot find C:\Users\Skype\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.SkypeRoomSystem_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState How can I get there to copy the xml file inside?

Not sure why hasn't anybody appreciated the efforts and the effects you have put in the video. Let me jump in and say that you deserve kudos for what you have done. :) Also there are not many individuals in the market with this skillset, so I am very sure that in maybe some couple of years from now, your videos will get more views and they'll be truly deserved.

The biggest problem is that the mobile device can only find the teams room if it is actually known. So you have to be in the same tenant, which makes it very difficult to share your screen as a guest.

In the Conditional Access Policy, I recommend adding "Intune Enrollment" as an exception to your CA policy.

Hello, I have one Monitor (4k resolution) on my MTR and I use a png file with the resolution recommanded by Microsoft 3840x1080. Completed the xml file too. But the custom background is delayed in the screen... Any idea ? The resolution mentionned by Microsoft is for one or Two Screen ? (I read this resolution is correct for both....)

I've tried this a few times now, and each time after the reboot, the skypesettings.xml is deleted, the images remain. Has anyone else had this issue?

Is there a way to add your coworkers to the display screen on the vvx to see if they are on the phone or not? (We don't necessary need to see presence on the phone line) Thanks

Polycom seems to indicate their VVX 311 devices can work with this method, however so far the one I've tested on has continually rebooted with errors after changing the provisioning server.

Can you tell me how to get the corporate phone book to appear on the phone once it's been signed in to Teams? I have Poly VVX 250 phones. I've asked Dr Google but I've found nothing. Poly's own documentation is horrific.

Just came across this as I am having a nightmare trying to get teams devices signed in. Ive followed this set up - I have only 1 Conditional access policy set up and ive filtered based on our yealink devices. It doesn't matter what I do, these devices refuse to sign in. I get "couldn't connect to workplace join" . I need to sort this as this is a pilot prior to us rolling out teams voice!

I am trying to gain access to the Polycom CX 600 using the IP address however for whatever reason it gives me an error message saying that the page could not be found. Can I do this method on Polycom CX 600 phone said if so is there anyway you can help me gain access to the internal settings through the phones IP address.

Hey great explanation! I have a question though, does the xml file that you place in the folder together with the customized image only affect the default background? I'm concerned it will mess up any of the other configurations of the teams device. Also if you want to remove the customized image, is it as simple as deleting the xml file?

Hi Mike, great stuff! I do have a question. For Enrollment Device Platform Restrictions, if I were to create a restriction specific to Teams Calling Devices, do I simply Block both settings for the Default restriction for Android Device Administrator? I don't see a way to remove that Platform otherwise. Struggling just a little trying to understand the best way for all the policies to stand on their own and peel them out of our current collective policies.

The first time I worked with Yealink CP900 series conference phones I just signed-in and everything worked. Just had to create the User's and teams licensing. When we moved in September to our new corporate location (all new network and firewall), We ran into this issue with signing-in, Company Portal loop. A colleague had been assigned the conference room set-up task. We had a temp suite with SOHO internet gateway and I suggested that he take one of the newer MP54 huddle-room phones there to test. Worked immediately. So this would tend to point firewall rather than compliance (as I have the slider over to if no policy, mark as compliant for now). But issue remains. I will work on this after the Christmas holiday and report back. This is the first useful documentation I have found in in my part-time searches trying to find an answer to this behavior.

I am finding it hard to understand if you need "both", the Teams Admin setting ON where you toggle the button to "Insert QoS Markers for real-time media traffic" and the GPO setting? (if you only want Windows devices to be affected by QoS) If you set the QoS markers on Group Policy, what does the setting "Insert Quality of Service (QoS) markers for real-time media traffic" on Teams Admin console do? Isnt it like the same thing?
