@@beginization I had 1972 mk 111,only mechanical problem I can remember was a broken valve spring,valve dropped into combustion chamber. Rubber drive shaft couplings didn't last too long,but main problem was rust.
I wish they kept the vents on guards and bonnet of the mk2

What a shame they didn’t show you under the bonnet, you could have eaten your dinner off the engine, but also the modification to the engine running twin SU HS’6s on a very neatly engineered original inlet manifold using Dolomite Sprint carburettor mountings and carbs.
What happened to it? No MOT since 2019?

Beautiful car! I got a ZT 190 -03 in XPower Grey myself, my brother has a ZS 180 -05 in Firefrost Red and my sister has a ZR 160 -03 in the same beautiful yellow as your ZS. The Z MG-Rovers are sch underrated cars.

I had one of these very similar to the one in the video and it was A DOG!!! It was very unreliable and the splines went on the kick-start. I couldn't wait to get rid of the fucking thing!!
