Beautiful! Hozier is definitely the soundtrack for these two. I'm as devastated that much of their scenes in the book were cut, specially knowing how James and Ruth would have played those scenes to perfection. So much anticipation, so little delivery from the show. Which is why videos like these are even more needed. 😭

So I've come back to comment on this video again bc I'm re-watching Grey's and just got to the scene with the party where they kissed after she did the surgery and I have to say more bc, I really wish the writers either dragged this crush out more &/or gave them more scenes together!! Not only did they have great chemistry, but they're both incredible go-getters from the start, they know what they want, they're high above the rest in their classes... they're equals in the playing field. Their personalities mesh so damn well, together and when their ideas are apart. I just really love the idea of having more and I regret not having more. The writers dropped the ball with them. Like mentioned in my last comment, she could've been his mentor or partner. His friend. He could've been the one she goes to for assistance with surgeries. Or competes with. They could be the work-wife, work-husband type. (Not saying I don't love Japril bc of freaking course I do, and I love lots of Cristina/Owen, but they could have done SOMETHING/ANYTHING with these two.) A lot of missed potential. So much. Damn. And in another life, they'd have the prettiest babies.
