Curious how this sketchbook is holding up with rough handling? I'm someone who does everything in one main sketchbook, but i do have one for page-saving purposes that's for drawing poses and other basic stuff except I wouldn't call it a sketchbook because it's a notebook (❍ᴥ❍ʋ)

All my sketchbooks are ugly sketchbooks the most fun thing about traditional art is it doesn’t need to be perfect or even “complete”

Hi, hello, love the video, cute art and very soothing vibe 🍂. I've been using Posca for the longest time and these look much more promising. I also use the Muji pens for outline and even sometime for a little dark shadow. I also combine that with pencil for shading and texture but I have pretty hard pencils but yours look very soft and almost brittle. What brand are they and would you recommend them?

I've always preferred calling it my "catch all" sketchbook. It catches all my doodles, notes, recipes lol, and really anything else. But seeing your process for breaking it in is giving some good inspiration!

I love my ugly journal. I draw, write, and scrapbook all in one! I'm one of those people that always has receipts on me so I love to tape in my garbage lol. It's the perfect place to get my ideas out fast without worrying about looks.

I enjoyed watching this soooo much! That construction situation was a nightmare when I traveled thru Boston this past summer oh my gosh! As someone who’s originally from New England now living in Florida I wish alll the time that we could get some cool fall weather instead of this gross humid temps. I loved both pages you ended up doing and honestly want to start using markers again after watching this 💖💖

I've been doing your prompt list this year, and have managed to not miss a day so far! There's something so satisfying about having such a pretty (outside) sketchbook and making it even better with random "ugly" drawings haha it's such a relaxer

Hi there! I love your illustrations! I have the 60B acrylic marker set and unfortunately you won't be able to find that kind of green that matches your coloured pencil frog spread. There is one muted sage green colour which I reckon is really nice too. I recommend looking up other reviews where people swatch them out so you have a better idea of the colour selection 😁

adorable!! I'm trying to keep two sketchbooks myself but finding it difficult; I hope it is something I can get used to and incorporate more. I will say I learned some sad news re: artxx recently; they apparently use AI artwork in their advertising :( which really bums me out bc I wanted to buy some of their acrylic markers myself.

Lol I call mine Trash or garbage sketchbook just to give myself the permission to practice and allow myself to fail and learn. Which helps with being able just to draw and doodle without holding myself at high standards. (which ends up making me to afraid to use the sketchbook in the first place lol) Low stress sketchbooks are sometimes the best especially with their mistakes.
