i totally agree the fps is awful at times and it feels like trash the fucking 3ds is better like i am not even joking the joycons would not stop drifting i feel like they where made that way so you would buy more replacements sure the exlusives are cool and stuff but they run like crap and the price for games that run like actaul crap is a bit silly its meh and just buy a damn 3ds and homebrew it they have great games just get a better console like anything but the switch!

The Switch also has several other problems that not only make it a terrible console, but a terrible Nintendo console compared to its predecessors. The menu can only be a very simple black or white color. No music, no wallpapers, nothing. And the Mii maker, something that to me is integral to every Nintendo console, is hidden low in the settings for some reason, instead of being an application. The online service is complete dogshit, playing Smash Bros online is a total nightmare for competitive players. And instead of making a new version that improves the console's performance and features, they made a shitty second version that's $50 more expensive, and all it changes is the design of the port and joycons, a bigger handheld screen, a wide stand for the handheld console, and more vivid colors. Which look ugly by the way. And can we talk more about how poorly the Switch ports games from other companies? They expect you to pay full price for the Batman Arkham trilogy, three very great and beloved games, when they run like garbage. Absolutely no respect for the consumers. This is proof that Nintendo only cares about gimmicks and marketing, rather than making something actually functional.

Switch is the first Nintendo Console I sold. Yes. I sold it. Didn't treasure it. Didn't even bother to keep it until the end of the generation. It's just bad.

Lol, funny presentation. Good video with perfectly valid reasons. I also don't really like the Switch at all, for the reasons you stated but also others you didn't mention: 1) No web browser. This is a huge hinderance. Imagine what a real-life situation is like if you want to bring the Switch with you on an airplane in cramped economy seating, where you have barely enough space for yourself and your phone. The Switch cannot use a web browser, and it lacks support for many normal streaming apps that people often use. That means be ready to pull out your phone and use that instead (which is annoying, because the screen size on the Switch is generally bigger than a phone, so ideally, I'd want THAT rather than my phone for viewing content on Netflix. But there ISN'T a Netflix app for the Switch. 2) No web cam/video chat support. Since both the Wii U and 3DS had this and did it just fine, there's zero excuse for the Switch to lack this feature. 3) If you don't play the Switch for a while (for any number of reasons, e.g. life, kids, other consoles), then decide you want to fire it up one day, you have to make sure that BOTH the system itself and the controllers are charged-- even if you're just trying to use it on a TV. Why is that necessary? I don't want to have to do that with a game system.

Buy a 3ds even now it’s still better. Tons of games as a start. Nintendo didn’t even release a Mario kart and tbh odyssey was boring. But people will suck up to them and their trash console that Ben around for 2 generations and fanboys can only mention the same 4 or 5 games and portability to defend it. It’s not more portable than a laptop if I can’t fit it in my pocket.

I will never understand how the switch flourished while the Wii U went down as a failure, there was no way this drifting mess should be able to compete with the big consoles.

after I got Switch because of Fast Rmx in 2017, I thought the hardware is much more powerful, but that feel when the creativity and power was squeezed to the last drop on launch day....
