This is a gregorian chant and a prayer sung in latin, it's named Salve Regina ("Hail Queen"). I listened to it and discovered the melody is based on the pentatonic scale with a bit of dorian mode and minor natural scale, so it seems very close to some blues songs and perfect to be played in DADGAD tuning. Pat Metheny and Anna Maria Jopek recorded this lovely song in the album Upojenie (2002). Anna also did an absolutely stunning version of this song on her album with Makoto Ozone and the Japanese band, on Haiku album. Thanks so much for your kind attention, Marcin

Bravo you accomplished a very classic Pat Metheny ballad..it has the making of a great composition across the fretboard It moves so seamlessly but upon learning it you find how it is a very complicated process..from beginning to end..but it is a heartwarming song.Bravo for learning this and sharing !!!!
