That's my halfway point between lemon grove and reedley
That's definitely a recognizable Landmark!
It’s awesome. 👍👍👍
Why does the Propeller become pixelated when recording?
Prop wash, when the rpm of the prop is similar to the shutter speed of the camera. You're seeing the fast moving prop and the camera is capturing parts of it
Not cool unless you’re there or fly through it.
San Juan mountains!
Priceless
To whomever values these things. You allowed your city to goto shambles.
No it’s allready at the Getty center

love the Bloc Party! I'm going to Trona in a couple weeks. Stoked!
Awesome! Have fun!
Between the first “ex” joke, and the comments about “butt naked” hilarious😂

Nirvana nice In Bloom too very underrated song
Thoughts on the 56 Last?
56 last has a more pointed toe, looks great in a suit, semi formal, office or for professionals that need to look polished. It's not suited for outdoor work and doesn't look good in my opinion with a full lug. I wore this boot with a dark grey suit and boy, did it work. There's more room than I thought there would be in the toebox, but the 20 last is better still.
@ gotcha. Sounds like I’ll just stick with the 20 Last. Thanks for the input.
It’s gonna be the Phillies next year!
Yayyyyyy
His soul left his body
Seeing that miserable face, pricelss.
The Airport-In-The-Sky that changed my life. In 1975 I flew my wife-to-be to Catalina from Van Nuys. It was our first date, a blind date! After eating a late afternoon lunch at the airport, we ran to the plane as the fog was rapidly coming in from the west. Airborne at mid runway our wheels scraped the tops of the fog--just made it off in time! We married 6 months later and had two children, followed by 9 grandchildren. It was a wonderful 45-year marriage that ended with her succumbing to cancer in 2020. I like to think that our romantic trip to Catilina airport set our great future in motion!
👏 amazing story!
No PAPI's? No thanks.

Ugggh Thier is Dinosaur In Back Ground Walking
I just noticed that!
this big bear?
Leavenworth, Washington State
It looks less and less German the farther you look
Better safe than sorry
Exactly
I was on a flight into Ireland through heavy clouds and fog, when the pilot came on and said "sorry folks we're gonna have to try again... we experienced a temporary downforce that exceeded the design characteristics of the plane." I looked around. No one else was concerned. They didn't seem to understand bro was saying a microburst almost fucking killed all of us. My wife did not approve of me clarifying that for the people seated next to us or her 😂
🤷♀️ haha
what plane do you fly
It's a Grumman Tiger AA5B 76'

I'm finishing a short story about an adventure I had flying a romantic couple from Fullerton, CA to Catalina in a Gheetah.
Isn’t 17 left traffic??
Normally but in this case, no. It was as directed by Tower. 🤷🏻
@@killerbloc Ah! Thanks. Thinking of flying in there. Decathlon 8KCAB -S45.
How’s the gloss chin piece with picking up micro scratches?
Color impregnated ABS plastic, not painted. Very scratch resistant
@@killerbloc thanks for the reply, just had mine come in and there is some swirling and little scratches on the gloss chin piece out of the box just trying to see if it’s normal
It's on sale now, ends today, for $29 for 10qts
Came across your channel. I flew med evac in that whole area out there....Ship Rock, Keyenta, Tuba City out of Flagstaff and Winslow. Never heard of HITE. Interesting place and runway. Well done.
Hey, thanks! I bet you have some great stories from your time there!
@@killerbloc haha. Yea it was some of the most challenging flying I did. Especially at night. Northern AZ is pitch black. At Tuba City when you clicked on the runway lights all you could see were two rows in a sea of black. You had to know the terrain intimately. There were no IFR approaches. We made up our own ! haha. At the same time it was very rewarding helping sick or injured people get to the treatment they needed. I like your procedures.....making sure of your calculations, having a plan to abort the landing if conditions warrant, taking the time to back the plane up to max out roll distance. Are you a private pilot? I've always liked the Gruman aircraft with the cool slide back canopy. I got to ride once in the little one......the AA1 I want to say? Am I correct there?
Thanks & Yup, private pilot. This bird is a 4 seater, so an aa5b 180hp Tiger.
Garbage helmet
After one year... 🏁 It's beautiful looking 🚩 It's loud as hell. It's not waterproof. The glue runs in desert heat over 100 degrees. The visor flexes when you turn your head. On my road king, there's a vacuum effect that pulls the helmet up, making it want to come off my head at highway speed.
I went there it was so cool😮!
Terrible oil will cause sludge!
lol Wrong so wrong
@@claddagh1000 i would say the same thing if I was using it also! Pray for that poor engine!
@@whatsamazing1531 You spout garbage. I have been using the Kirkland brand for over 5 years. My 4runner with 280K miles is doing just fine.
@@pH7screwtubewell a 4Runner can run with olive oil as the oil and run just fine!
Absolutely, you keep changing it every 20k miles
Any issues getting permission to land there? Goulding's contract lists a phone number to call...
Never an issue. When I have called in the past, they just gave a pilot brief and gave a sales pitch for their cabins and camp spots. I've also landed there without calling with no issue as well.
Okay so I’m a girl 4’8” and I’d like to be in the front but I’ll be alone so what would you recommend I do if I would like a drink or use the restroom 😢
Just hang back and watch from the elevated section that runs along the peripheral. Or hang out below that in the very back where the number of people gets thin. Have fun!
Hey Muhreesa how did it go? Have you gone yet?
Let’s go together next time 🤙
@@yamuthahoHeyy so sorry, yes I did go :) it was amazing and the whole place was so beautiful thankfully average socal height is like 5’5” so it really wasn’t that bad, I didn’t get to the front but I was close enough between the middle and the rail so it was still a good experience thank you 😊🎉
