Thanks mate. I ran the new M2 mx33 tyres, full on knobbies but they worked best of what I had when I went there a month ago. The holeshots would have worked fine once the track cleaned up like it was but the best tyre seemed to be the hot laps that Glen was using, good stability, grip and turning. I ran the alloy rims which I like best vs the plastic and now proline have brought out some new hot laps to suit these I've got some on the way to try next time I go there

Thanks mate, that jump is brilliant. Such fun with the bikes and the track suits them really well. I think with hot laps tyres they could go even quicker on that sort of surface. Hope you heal up soon. Maybe next year mate 👍

@@haroldbascom5866 my rear shock is setup slightly different to the stock setup but bikes being a short wheelbase with big wheels and a high centre of gravity tend to behave differently to cars and trucks. A lot is throttle control on a track but my setup does help a little as the stock shock is too stiff to absorb I think. I run 40wt in the shock usually with the solid travel limiting spacer cut in half so it has more travel. The spacer I use measures 4mm. I like my forks a little stiffer and run 50wt in those vs the stock 45wt. Hope you can get the bike sorted to your satisfaction. If running on very bumpy stuff vs jumps you could drop the oil wts slightly to maybe 35 rear and 40wt front to try. The other change is to run the soft springs all round which reacts less so hopefully helps with this also

@@YukeyBoy-y8x cool, personally I'm not interested in that as they go great on 2s for track use which is what I have my bikes for. As it is they have plenty of power on a track with the stock electronics and 2s battery

@ originally it was designed as a 1/10th truck or buggy track but I added berms to get it to suit bikes, it works quite well and is lots of fun 👍

@@Shreddylife it's a small zip tie wrapped around the lower triple clamp down to the outside of the front axle. As they compress it pops off. Works great, easy and simple, nothing flash 😂

@@Shreddylife I only run the soft springs. You are correct, the stock fork springs are way too stiff. I use soft springs all round with half the bump stop spacer removed from the shock shaft to get full travel. I run 40wt in the shock and 50wt in the forks

@@Shreddylife no the rear shock spacer that is fitted on the shock shaft, mine measures 4mm vs the stock 8mm. Forks are stock spacers

@@DanielKieselhorst thanks, these are 1/4 inch nylon rod. It's flexible and slippery and works great when you get the length and angle correct. Vitavon have released their version of these now for a bolt on kit. Mine are made from parts from old bikes. You can heat the nylon with a lighter and bend and hold to manipulate how it sits. The nylon is available in black or white also. The white is a little stiffer and more supportive, the black a little more pliable with a little less support. You can also change the length to tune to your liking. Ideally I remove the outer section of the pegs and move the boot back on the peg or remove the peg and zip tie the boot to the side bars as these can drag and upset the bike in the corner
