Nokotan is the scariest anime character ever, because she's a "TRAP" WOKE/ DEI written MC. WOKE ideology, is pervasive. It can manipulate people,make them see things,hear things, even do things, that.. normally they might not. This is called camouflaged,for a reason. It's cute, it's sweet, it's funny. The novels are definitely worth reading, even if you only read up to volume 12, where this season ended. There is so much cut content and that's not even mentioning the fact that 90 percent of Rudy's inner dialogue gets cut from the anime.

3:16 so you find it weird that if Sylphie was in the same position as Roxy, seeing Rudeus dying from depression, she wouldn't have tried to sleep with him if that was presented as an option to save him just because he has a pregnant wife waiting for him? That seems like the easiest decision ever even for someone with monogamous values, and in this case it is a world where polygamy is normalized.. And no, Norn is not one with a "sane mind" here, she is just more similar to the real life morality from twitter users. In context she is being hypocritical, out of place, and a religious nut. She would never say anything like that to her perfect daddy who has multiple wives, she is literally used to that already. She isn't really very religious, she is just finding fault with Rudeus and using her religion as an excuse. She is basically invalidating her sister's entire existence during that whole convo. And she is pushing her believes into others, remember that most of what she said was not about Rudeus cheating but about him taking a second wife, even when Sylphie stepped up Norn continue to tell her what to do "Just let her go", in the LN Sylphie even reprimanded her at that moment for her harsh words. Btw, this is not a critique to Norn, her reaction makes sense for a 10yo who just lost her father and who doesn't have the full context of the situation, she doesn't know that Rudeus spent days without eating or that treating depression with sex is normal for adventurers. Maybe if she saw how bad he was she would be angry but not lash out like that.

The author's favorite character is apparently Norn. If there's a sequel, she's the MC. It's mainly because of what you said: she's the most normal out of all the cast. It gives her an inferiority complex, literally an average person in a world of gods, geniuses, and fucked up people. She is one of the best characters to follow ngl

Mushoku Tensei season 3 cant come sooner, even though they changed or removed stuff from the Light Novel, I still liked this season. Solid 8/10. season. For you Anime only peeps, season 3 is gonna be fucking wild.

A couple debunking points 1) you mention the light novel but didnt mention that he didnt JUST lose his parent hes been in his room not eating for a week and some change. This is why the party got together and talked about what they could do to help. Geese says to lise that shes been in this situation before and the way she helped those men get back on thier feet was sleeping with them. Lise however doesnt want to betray cliff. The party kinda decided to let rudy pick him self back up but roxy knew that rudy wouldn't be able to do that. So she resolved to do what need to be done. By the way before she did sleep with him lise told her about sylphie. But Roxy knew something needed to he done. If nothing and no one came to help him, he most likely would have died 2) Roxy only confessed her love and when rudy offered to accept for the trip she turned that down. It was lise that told rudy to propose and even when he did roxy told rudy to get permission from his wife first. So she never asked him to marry her she was not happy about it but she was going to step aside

In the manga actually it gives a more in depth explanation elf granny basically told roxy "hey go sleep with rudy" knowing he needed some way to get out of his depression idk what will happen next as i haven't completely caught up to the manga

First off, I had the same thought. Roxy went too far. But that's in the context of the world we live in. I would've rather kept that context, but this is in another world's societies, where polygamy is more accepted, apparently. Still, he made a promise to Sylphie and then broke it. I'm irritated at him, too.
