It's pretty straight forward mechanically. The difficult part is the electrical. Made easier with a Link ExtremeX ECU. If you decide to do an EZ30R swap we can supply the ECU with a base map.

Damn why people hate on the rb motors soo damn much??? Mine making 500hp on pump had it in my car since 2012 its still on stock internals except the HG and headstuds!!!

@@Teahairs I'm not hating on RB's I love them. My R33 GTR has been running 420 odd bhp sinse 2009 and it's still going. Love the engines it's just rb25's are known for having weak rods so I expected that engine to blow by now

@@killianoreilly5416 its not the rods that are weak its the bolts ...you can't rev them high when making 500hp and up im guessing the bolts come loose and makes it spin bearings. My tuner specializes in rb motors he told me unless I was trying to make over 600hp i didn't need to change the rods.

No we did not, but the car has ran for two years like this, and doesn 't consume oil and the cylinder leakage is good.

The best gas is Ethanol, haha. The HKS and Greddy Filters are both good. We have them cut open in our front office now. Magnet built in to them, good construction, and open filter cage on the inside. Only concern I could see is if the filter were used too long and degraded there could be a higher chance of the filter element particles to get into the oiling system although I think this quite unlikely.

Life at AFR that’s good to know I change my oil every 3k but is petro 94 for better or husky

@@brianmitcheal4578 we have had good successes with 94 huskly, mostly depends what your car is tuned for.

There is no need for a custom one. afr-autoworks.myshopify.com/collections/tomioka-racing/products/tomioka-racing-tr-gtx2971-twin-scroll-for-subaru-wrx-02-07-and-sti-04-18 Tomioka makes a factory replacement for the twin scroll. Spool is typically 3-400 rpm later than stock depending on the factory turbo with the same mods.

Thomas Paroz everything mounting wise is the same as the factory ej engine, the pedals as they are drive by wire required some mounting, and some custom mounting for the radiator as the engine sits much further in the engine bay.
