How to get there: The Goukamma Nature Reserve is situated 40km East of George in the Eden District and 20km West of Knysna. Take the Buffels Bay turn-off on the N2 between Knysna and Sedgefield. Drive approximately 8km then turn right towards the River. Turn right at the "Groenrivier" signpost and follow the directions. Enjoy the adventure!!

The trail is not one of the most difficult trails around, with an average rating of 2, but it will ensure breath-taking views with enough challenging sections to get your attention away from the view and back to the driving techniques required to negotiate the trail safely.
