@@Colton_K I am a master when it comes to recognizing sounds, or train sounds. I can tell when a amtrak train away from a bnsf train or whatever by the horn tones alone

These are cargo rails. Not setup for speed. The USA is considerably larger than the EU. Imagine the cost of upgrading everything here to be suitabe for EU standard rail speeds. Be realistic lol

by my calculation based on the amount of time it takes for the train to pass 1 minute and 44 seconds and the speed 71 MPH that means that this train is 2.05 miles in length or for you that'd be 3.3 km this is significantly longer than the max allowed length of a German freight train which is 750 m. to give a scale this American freight train is moving 30% slower but is hauling 440% more freight. this isn't even mentioning that the containers are double stacked here so when accounting for double stacking this train is hauling 880% more freight at 70% the speed of a german freight train @kaiserobama645

Are your trains 2 to 3 miles long? Didn't think so. You ought to see and experience one of these monsters flying down the rails here in the USA. Some of these have over 200 53' containers on them. You will be amazed at them.. You can have your tinkertoy trains over there in Europe.

In deed the length and the power of your trains is impressive and in deed 71mph for a 2 to 3 mile train is impressive. But my point is that the video caption "INSANELY FAST" written in caps is kind of hilarious because 71mph is believe it or not, not very fast. For your Trains it might be but for EU trains it is not.

@@keltondavis4559 But your calculation don't work if you think about that our Trains don't have to travel anywhere near as long distances as yours and our trains travel at shorter intervals. The next point is that our Train Network mostly uses electric trains compared to your Black Smoking diesel trains, so our Cargo is transported by far greener as yours. Think what you want but our faster but shorter Cargo trains are by far more effektive than your 2 mile long Cargo trains traveling at 71mph for over 2000miles through your country. And I haven't even mentioned your shitty passenger trains from Amtrack. That most of you don't even use because they are so bad.

At 73 PTC will beep at you and give you a warning, for PTC to stop it he has to hit 74 which will throw the train into suppression, not emergency.
