Yes at this young age my conure(gcc) didn't mind me putting on his harness, now mine is 5 years old and fights me when I put it on, so keep doing the harness and take him outside at least two or more times a week so you don't have trouble like I do putting his harness on, my mistake was that I didn't do it often enough, so I trained mine to stay on my shoulder by teaching him indoors to station when we went out, keep doing this just as you are, it's safer and easier, good job!!!❤❤❤😅😅🎉

I know this video is kind of old but it gives me the information I need to know more about starting a system like this. I am in an area where electricity can be interrupted from time to time, would the plant bed where your filtration is flowing through can be adjusted in in a lower level like around the same water level? This way, even if the pump is not working, the root system will still be connected to the water supply from the tank when electricity is unavailable for like couple of days. Does doing this provides a difference or not? I think pumping water above the plant bed provides more oxygen to the water since it's being exposed while moving through the substrate but yeah, my only worry is if electricity is unavailable, so does the pump that pushes the water up. Hope it makes sense

You get new birds and you don't have a cage. And you got them because they were cheap, you are that greedy. I kust got them and will start recording. You are talking about them, like they are objects. At least you are honest about it unlike the other youtubers that pretend like they care about the bird. Also, you don't put parakeets with finches. You might lose your investmemts. At least pretend lile you are not reading off of wikipedia or wherever. You should have read this BEFORE you got the birds.

Probably so thirsty and hungry-I would have gave them millet. Pea brained owner, STILL has not fed them!!!!!

It's not good to buy wild caught birds. It is the bad people who sell them and they don't treat the birds right either. Also birds are becoming much fewer in numbers in the wild because of the wild bird trade. They say they are captive bred but they are really wild caught which is illegal. Don't buy birds if you are not 100% sure of where they came from. The person in this video said that as well but we must make sure.

while I really like your videos and your little conure (I had one too, that I named Pineapple) the risk you took lettering her fly when you put the juicer on is not a great example for others. so many people loose their birds this way. I really think that was a bad idea.

Hi there, In regards to you getting Pineapple a mate (BYW I had one just like her and did get her a mate and that was the end of my relationship with her to my dismay. My experience is usually the same, introduce a new bird to another, and if they bond, you are less interesting to them. It's risky getting another bird, but the one you should get should be like her. Not a different type of conure.

i am sorry but i am laughing hard when you said have 1 meter.sq per bird, thats huge space. truth is u can have a 2 ft long cage and put 3 pair of budgies and they will live happily. knowing that someday you are going to let them have indoor freeflight. if not, then 1 pair in 2 ft long cage. i had 1 pair at first in a 2ft standard cage. then i tamed them, got them to get use to freeflight in hall. after a year i got one more pair and in same year the first pair gave 4 eggs. outta those 2 were fertile. now there are 6 budgies in 2ft cage. it might feel like 2ft cage is small for 6 budgies but it's a lot of space. i change the positions of perches, add new toys, or just brown paper so that they don't get bored.

What do you feed them? I had a peach face that lived for 23 years. I let him fly around all the time. He was on pretty bird pellet and fresh chop. He would land on me and stay cuddled with me for hours! I just got a Dutch blue 3 months old that is still very wild!
