As a follow up to this, I solved the intermittent stopping in my mower for now. Mine is RY401018VNM but I’d guess this same issue is pretty common. The connectors on the handle/trigger switch were very loose, giving false safety trip. Constant trips over bumpy terrain. I zip-tied the connectors to each other in a way that ensures they are always in contact with their respective pins and it hasn’t tripped since, over 1 hour of cutting.

As shown in the video, I use the Logitech K400r keyboard/trackpad combo. Now, the trackpad does not work, but the keyboard does. As you can see, I have used the “I O L” keys in this response using an external wireless keyboard. Now, the control doesn’t do anything because Apple doesn’t use it much. I use the Windows key as it functions as the command-key. I was able to toggle my tab groups in Safari, use command-L to jump to the browser URL address field, and command-space to invoke the spotlight search to quick launch apps. I’m not denying your experience, but stating how the Logitech works. Can you specify which manufacturer keyboard you are using? Is it wired or wireless. I will see if I can replicate and if possible resolve your issue.

By the way, out of curiosity, what was the make and model of your AIO? Was it a brand new out of the box AIO or used but new to you? (The latter forms the majority of the equipment in my lab.) It would be helpful to know as there are no doubt others who are going to hit the panic button when they encounter this ;)

Rather than express an opinion based in zero experience, it may be time to see the dealer. My concern is that hair and other things have clogged the vent.

The remote access app gets installed on the client iPad or iPhone. Due to some security issues, it has been disabled from working on macOS. I apologize if I did not make that clear in the video.

Admittedly, I really only have one VM In my UTM app at this time, and that is windows 11 Pro. However, I was able to access it without issue. Well, UM is a rapper for QEMA, which conceded your point. That said, what were you looking to access using the UM remote app? Is it running under VMware or parallels desktop? But

@@technologistonthego2377 I was looking to run a macOS VM, and use UTM Remote to connect to it from my iPad Pro, when I'm travelling. It's got a full keyboard and trackpad, but iPadOS limits what I can do. Sadly, the macOS VM is always 'unavailable' in UTM Remote, due to that macOS guests not running on QEMU. But the way UTM works, it wouldn't be viable anyway. You can't just connect/disconnect to running VMs.

@@paulwoodward8265 Yes, I noticed that. As my MacOS VM wasn’t fully configured beyond the initial installation, I thought the lack of availability was due to that. Apparently, it is an unfriendly Apple thing.

It doesn’t “fix” anything. It bypasses a false positive CPU fan error some systems are prone to get. If the system has an actual CPU fan error, this will do nothing. In that event, the root cause of the error must be addressed.

Did you transpose the last two letters intending to say you have a "Techno mouse", a gaming mouse? If it is, I wasn't able to find much about it on the web. Do you know the website for the maker of it? I am hoping they sell replacement USB dongles, or have software or a documented process for pairing the mouse to a new dongle. Still, you would need a USB dongle made for the mouse in question.

It I’d time to look at the hardware. Start by looking at the fans to see if they are spinning fast or slowing down or grinding. The CPU fan error is a false positive fire many people, but for others it is legitimate.

Not everyone has an OBD2 reader. Cars are expected to have a way to clear the indicator for an oil change albeit not in such convoluted manner as this. Still, your point is good that an OBD2 reader can reset it in a direct manner.

Does it work on another system like a MacBook? We need a way to verify whether the problem is with the reader or the sd card.

I do not have a G305 mouse, but from what I see, it requires the G hub software. Try installing that. I am curious if that app work have the effect of pairing the mouse. Either way, that is a requirement, which may explain why the software terminates age clicking next.

@@technologistonthego2377 I got it to work! For this, after installing the G Hub, i went to settings, and there is a pairing mode inside of it (down, in like a blue tone). It's almost the same procedure as it is here, but only under the settings section of the G Hub, no need to use the other software! Thanks for the info, much love

I am not sure what you mean by “no display port signal”. Is your PC unresponsive sending no video output to the screen? If so, does your PC indicate it is booting up? Does the monitor use display port or HDMI? Sometimes that gets switched and just needs to be changed back. Lastly, power off the PC, and power on pressing the key to enter BIOS. It may be F2 or DEL. See if this gets you back in to BIOS to check the setting. Remember, this sitting addresses a false positive with the CPU fan. If there is a legitimate CPU cooling fan problem, this setting is irrelevant and will accomplish nothing regarding a hardware problem.

If this were me, I would open up the PC and examine the CPU fans to see if they spin at all when the system is powering up. The CPU fan error may have been legitimate. You may not be comfortable doing that. Next, I would look at a video on resetting BIOS to default. It's relatively simple. Then see if the system reverts back to the way it was prior to making the BIOS tweak.

With nuances like this, I can understand. However, iCloud does a great job as long as you play nice with it. It never occurred to me that iCloud still considers folders with the .nosync indicator as being “synced”. The nosync only confuses iCloud into thinking “items” are missing. Is it too much to expect that we could get a web or app inference to opt in/out files and folders? After all, it is 2024 not 1994. I don’t dare turn off iCloud temporarily, which is likely another work around, because I will eventually forget to turn it back on and only realize that when I need data recovery the most.

Now, I do not have a late 2012 iMac to test with, but what I have seen on the web states that your model does not support a USB to HDMI adapter. What you will need to use is a mini DV to HDMI adapter. Then you will be able to use an HDMI cable to connect the iMac to the windows laptop. At that point, you can run OBS studio on the Windows laptop in fullscreen mode, which the iMac will identify as an external monitor and utilize. You can get just such an adapter on Amazon for around $10. If for any reason it still chokes, you can always return the adapter. Please keep me posted as there will no doubt be others who want to do what you’re doing.

Yes, you must use the Logitech non-unifying receivers if you are using a non-unifying keyboard/mouse set. You can tell which one you are using because the unifying keyboard & mice have the little star inside the orange rectangle. The non-unifying dongles and keyboard have no such thing. Also, the non-unifying receivers are wireless but not bluetooth.

Is your iPhone a model 11 or newer? Are you running Windows 11? Those are the two requirements. Let me know.

Yes, it would suffice. Now, your mileage will literally vary with no pun intended given that you are a trucker. Assuming your choice of a PC, laptop, or gaming console is adequate, you will need three things to game away from home: 1. Good download speed - this is the easiest of the metrics to hit because all carriers are bigoted towards producing faster download speeds. 2. A decent upload speed. This is by far the most difficult one to achieve because, I believe, carriers deliberately throttle this to favor download speeds. That said, I have found that using this device on T-Mobile, delivered usable upload speeds far more often than AT&T or Verizon. You would want to get at least 20 Mbps upload speed for a nice smooth experience. 3. Both low latency and low jitter. These are the metrics that can give you an indication of whether you’re going to be dropping frames or might find your gameplay glitch for a second or two. The Speedtest at speed.cloudflare.com shows those two metrics. Having said all that, I have absolutely done cloud gaming off of this device in multiple remote settings. I am more subject to gaming problems by far than I would encounter at home, but the few frustrations I have encountered were largely due to not having a controller with me or a nice flat surface for the mouse than they were internet performance of the M2000.
