Ive got at least 12-14 mower chassis' and a dozen motors and tons of parts laying around here. 2 or 3 MST's, a couple 820's, a couple 633a's... WHY HAVENT I DONE THIS YET. I DISAPPOINT ME.
Nice Truck Gary , awesome sound , I watched all of your videos with this truck , this truck is absolutely perfect , the wheels , engine everything , I like your future plans to up the engine power , any plans for air conditioning in the future and maybe blacked out window tint ?
@@shawnjohn765 Thank you. I really appreciate you watching all the videos. I definitely still want to follow through with the performance upgrades when I am able to put the money into it. I have looked into options for an air conditioner setup. I'm not a big fan of window tint. Maybe a very slight tint to help keep the cab cooler. Thanks again for watching

plumbers tape/ teflon for outer screw in aldi ?
Good DIY Video mate. I assume you are using 4 cyl tach on a 2 cylinder with a Wasted Spark ignition. You can also connect up the tach and Engine on/off to a single switch so it doesn't drain the battery. Use a SPDT switch [diverter switch] . Connect the Red Tach wire to constant live , and the Black Wire to the 3 post SPDT switch. Connect so the terminals are 1: Tach ground wire 2: Center terminal "to ground" [frame] 3: Ignition coil off ground wires flip the switch one way completes the tach circuit, flip it the other way switches off the tach and grounds the engine [off]
Es de 5 o 10 cambios?
You can almost smell the burning rubber.
What kind of transmission is that
Hell yeah
This shit sounds BETTER then a Harley. IMO

Sounds good brah!!

New viewer from Australia, loving the content man, I’ve got 3 old rover mowers I’m wanting to tinker with one I’ve got a free minute 😂, subbed 👌
most gas cars blow out 3rd gear because bozo drops the clutch on the synchronizer teeth and blows them clear off the shaft. most cars cant even do a 13 second 1/8 mile with the detergent ethanol additive stuff that's in all the gas now that makes all gas powered work trucks useless and floored just to move them self as is at 45mph. 1.04L ecoboost swap "economy boost has nothing to do with environment, that would be an... envyboost badge 😐🤔 10.4
got one of those to fit in a car... think it weighs 6000 pounds, tho adding a 1000 pound load on the old gas engine took away a lot of power, dragging home rocks to fill holes. thing would do 95mph without even touching the 205hp gas, then they put more and more ethanol in the gas till the motor blew up doing nothing... 640ci for 210HP seems way over built "small gas cylinder walls expand faster then the water shows it causing head gasket failures, that big iron block wont do that". was a 54mph 1/8 mile ticket with the gas block... add 2400lbs and, not sure yet... +5hp/+2400lb.
Just take the bottom diaphragm out and leave the top one be. No need to mess around with that. Is not going to do anything with the bottom part out.
@@tobiasjacobsen_dk 🤔 Ahhh ok. Thank you. I can't believe I didn't think of that.

Looking good. Going to be cool!!
My pickup design to transform my craftsman LT1000 im going the route where i build a whole new frame and take the parts im reusing from the lawnmower to the new frame
That thing looks way cooler with the wide tires on it
wont the belt run through you leg? might have to do something about that
@@spudstudios3342 it's gonna be close. The belt will be under my leg along the frame rail. There's going to be a set of idler pulleys routing the belt down from the engine. We'll see how it works out when I get to that point.
@@DieselFuelNetworkgood that you have plans for it, i really like the pedal idea you have for it.
You are very good at improvising
@@6speedguy845 thank you
I'm planning on doing something similar gona , under drive the transmission. Gona move the trany up and put a strait axle driven by 😂t 5:03 he tranny allowing me acces to gear ratio externally tranny speed lower hopefully
@francoreia8147 That's a great plan. I've thought of doing that as well. There will be much less stress on the transaxle under driving it. And much more final drive gear ratio options. You will also be able to mount the seat even lower
Dude you have the engine on the wrong side it will run backwards.
@howlinwulf No, that's not correct. The engine turns clockwise when viewed from the flywheel side. If viewed from the crankshaft side, it will be spinning counterclockwise, which is the direction that the transaxle input shaft spins. These transaxles were on older machines that had horizontal shaft engines layed out exactly like this. Thanks for watching.
Smoke is wasted I burned fuel. Also, it looks like you’re driving too fast for that tiny road. If so, grow up.
You don’t need to mess with the Alda. Just make sure the boost is correct and everything else including IP timing, valve adjustment and injectors are good.
You need SOME suspension and shock absorbsion AND a steering stabilizer. If you did a tie rod across from wheel to wheel and one drag link from the gear to one spindle, you could hook a stabilizer to the cross tie rod. Dont forget to relocate the holes to set ackerman steering. Just my 2cents... more like a $1.75 really.
Good to see your alive

Thx for the video! 💥 💨
Dude I was driving rigs in 1977 with 13 speed road ranger gearboxes and you never ever use the clutch to shift except in takeoff from a dead stop. you have to feather the gas to syncronize the rpns so you shift with no clutch effortlessly. First rig was Detroit Diesel 671 with factory supercharger and that bitch is really hard to shift cause if you rest your foot on the gas it shoots to 3000 RPM cause of the blower.
@@davewalker3979 Hey brother, I appreciate your advice. However, while that is the correct way to drive a non synchronized transmission like a 13 speed road ranger, my transmission is synchronized. It's a Spicer 5 speed. It operates exactly like a car or light duty truck trans. I can shift without the clutch but it's not required with this trans. Also this has a 2 speed rear axle, and there are certain shifting sinarios that require clutching in order for the rear axle to shift smoothly. Again no disrespect, I definitely appreciate someone with experience giving tips. I also love hearing the stories of the trucking glory days with screaming Detroits. Thanks for watching and commenting brother
Have you fixed the starter on that truck yet
Thats the same reason why my design for my project is keeping the motor up front and make it look like a old chevy truck when im done with mine but idk if i want to use and modify the lawn tractor frame or build a frame from scratch and just add the motor etc that i need that im reusing from it
Bruh it sound mean homie
I would have liked to seen what you would do with the rear engine.Do you think the 633A will shift on the fly as well as the last transmission?
You might want to get a hold of some salvaged road sign post pieces. They come in a couple of sizes, are very strong and, have holes drilled each inch. Even if you only used them to act as a jig or for mock up. I used some as cross members on a flatbed pickup build and they were strong enough to lift the rear of the truck off the ground with a hi-lift jack.
I'm glad to see you've defined your vision and stuck to your guns about creating hot-rod mowers. Never sell out to the youtube comments including mine. You do YOUR thing and the rest of us are coming along for the ride. Selling yourself out to youtube comments is a surefire way to decrease viewership. Be proud of what you do, who you are, and just keep on sharing your videos no matter how mundane you think they are. I enjoy listening to you talk us through your builds and your thought process. It's the crux of creativity and it shows how you think/talk yourself through the project. Even if you think your other videos are boring or rambling, you should have a 2nd channel where you just upload your ramblings, tell us you're rambling, and let us enjoy watching your "sloppier" channel. Make sure you link to your main channel and link to your second channel from each other. Glad to see you back on track doing what you do best: building hot rod mowers!!!
