Drill pipe failures can be categorized as follows:
• Twist-off-due to excessive torque
• Parting-due to excessive tension
• Burst or collapse-due to excessive internal pressure or external pressure, respectively
• Fatigue-due to mechanical cyclic loads, with or without corrosion
A vast amount of research has been conducted on drill pipe fatigue failures; however, it remains one of the least understood drilling problem to date.

When drilling the casing rigs begins, does the circulation flow through the MPD and Coriolis chokes? If so, there is a high probability of clogging the MPD equipment with rigging elements. I suppose there might be a mistake in the MAASP formula: 0.052 should be used instead of 0.0052.
Absolutely the constant is .052 which is a result of 1 / 231 (there is 231 cubic inches in a gallon) then multiply by 12 (12 inches in a foot).
