Always remember to plug your solar controller into your battery first and then you can plug your solar panel into the controller. If you plug the panel in first you can damage your controller

Ive been very happy with my kings products. Putting different rating solar panels together is a bad idea. No wonder the guy had problems. Always have a multimeter handy and test your panels output, saves a big headache in the long run

I have been looking at these however there’s so much competition at this price point, I have been looking at these however there’s Emma 3.0 E-bike which is totally different to this and offers way more than this bike. It’s just I have been looking at my local law in Australia which states the bike isn’t allowed more than 200W of assistance and if it does then it’s not allowed on public walkways or bicycle paths, the law also states that I have to have a RE or R licence to ride it. So I may now have to look at an e-bike from Giant if I don’t want risk getting caught with an e-bike that is over powered. Has anyone else been caught out with an overpowered e-bike or own one? Or should I not risk it 🧐

I went through two battery with in two months, the first I thought I has done something, so went out and got new cords and regular, Than going another kings battery I that for 4 weeks and again the battery would not hold it charge, I took it back and than I had to wait 3 days before they would give another one because of all the testing they say they had to do 😮 I will not by from them ever again

In Australia at least, if a product is being falsely advertised, we can complain to the government. You can't sell something that doesn't do what it says it does. And you can certainly get a refund if it's not up to scratch.

I have there kings 40 amp mppt which seems to be handling the job ok. I use it with a kick ass panel though so that's probably why :). kick ass 350w panel and it gets very close to what its rated for.

Some of their stuff is ok for the price. I've never had an issue with their spotties. I dont go through deep rivers so not worried about waterproof. Comparing the lights with a mates set of Narvas the difference was so minimal that the justification to spend 3x more is not worth it.
